My mother was in Ancora Hospital earlier this year...and Ancora is problably one of the worst or the worst hospital in NJ with their military style ways. Please shut that hospital!

My grandmother was put into Ancora in 1977 for her 'own good' and she never came out. She died the day after Christmas under suspicious circumstances. I've always thought that hospital should be closed down.

Gee, an outraged Trenton Politician! You want outrage Miss Oliver? Look at the terrible road conditions, high gas taxes, high crime rates, high illiteracy rates, high school taxes. New Jersey is a joke--and it is YOUR responsibility Miss Oliver. Perhaps if the politicians focused more on service to their constituencies rather than spending the entire term dealing in pork and working on the reelection campaign, the state would be a better place for its citizens and not just the vermin we call politicians. From cruising restrooms on the Turnpike to not wearing their seatbelts while breaking the law, our Liberal "leadership" has done well by themselves while screwing the people of the state.

I have worked in a psychiatric hospital, and I can tell you
that people also have died in there due to the stupidy of the
those that were supposed to be watching the patients. I am sick of hospitals covering up there mistakes. they need to be
take responsibily for the patients that were hurt or died.
I'ts a real shame this is still happening.I feel sorry for the woman, and for her family.hospitals need to own up to there mistakes. they should be fined and or closed down.

More Rhetoric from the two headed snake that runs NJ and it's institutions.
Resident for 67 years ,I hear more reasonable states calling
my small retirement will work real fine in many states
seems NJ is just for "The Good Old Rich Boys"
Didn't there Moms and Dads tell them if they continued doing
what they are doing they would go BLIND???

Isn't it obvious that the State of NJ needs to come in and clean this place up. It has been in need of a clean up for some years now. It is a shame that patients who need help have to fear for their lives.

I have seen the news. Shut it down and burn it to hell. I heard it has been investigated by the Feds Christie needs to go there for a week let alone years and see what it is like. Patients there suffer at the hands of the staff. It is a disgrace to the state of nj. This is atrocious what happens in a place that is supposed to help a person get up out of mental illness. They profess to have wellness and recovery care but it has abuse and death care model. Anyone who is in there should rebel. I haven't been there but I know people who used to work there. No one wants to work there anymore. Main hall is the new admissions and geriatric patients and they are treated badly. Holly hall is the criminally insane. They get no treatment. To make them not comit crimes. Cedar hall is the developmentally disabled. They can't speak up for themselves and get treated badly. Larch hall is extended acute 2 -6 months. They do not get treatment to help them after discharge. Birch hall is extended chronic. More than 6 months. People stay for 25 years sometimes. One guy on YouTube was there 14 years. They get tortured. Overmedicated. And restrained in chairs and beds. They get abused. Shut the ancora psychiatric hospital down then burn the buildings.

The $tate p$ychiatric ho$pitals are money motivated not helping motivated. They want to milk your insurance or bank accounts dry. I saw that screeners and psychiatrists get money for sending patients to certain hospitals such as Ancora. This was on the Antipsychiatry Coalition's website. I think APH should have been closed and not Hagedorn psychiatric hospital. The reason why they closed HPH and not APH is because they would lose about 400 beds and lots of $$$.
