Jackson's death brings scrutiny on prescription drug use

Michael Jackson's death Thursday has cast a spotlight on prescription-drug use. Former Jackson lawyer and family friend Brian Oxman said in a television interview Friday that Jackson was taking prescription drugs to deal with pain from a broken back and broken leg, which were getting in the way of his concert rehearsals.

ok, we all know he was addicted to narcotics, the question is where did he get them?, who are the people who enabled him?, because its obvious, he couldnt do this on his own, its a shame it had to take michael jackson to wake up the laws, i truly hope the federal government puts a stop to these doctors over prescribing narcotics, and making addicts out of thier patients, which coul dbe you, myself, a sister brother, or aunt, this is an ongoing problem in this country, and pweople do not want to address it, till it hits home, and sometimes its too late, people if you know someone using prescription pain killers, talk to them..before its too late...our family has already been faced with this monster problem, its grows, and gets worse..pain management doctors, need to be under close federal watch.
