Although I am not informed of the situation regarding the OFSD teacher strike and their negotiations, I am informed on the financial situations of many Old Forge residents (college educated and other) who are earning under their educational and experiential levels. Some of these residents are without health insurance or are subsidizing their own payments; not all of them
are enjoying a life free of financial woes or concerns.
Commons sense should be an essential factor when negotiating their settlement. I only hope that the OFSB is not going to relinquish and submit to all of their requests We are not in the 90 or 80's any longer--we are facing financial hardships, crisis, and adjustments need to be made.
