McEathron Indicted for Kidnapping

A Steuben County Grand Jury indicted a man for kidnapping a teenage girl. The jury charged 28-year old Darren McEathron of BAth with second degree kidnapping and assault. via WENY

How can a young man who has such a promising future in his business, a little son and sweet wife come to such a point? His life was pointing toward good goals and he was happy. His parents support has always been a given. In spite of some hard blows that life has dealt him along the way, he was always a survivor. What happened to that spirit? How come no one speaks of praying for the victim and that Darren desperately needs some divine intervention too.

Life did not deal him any "blows", he brought them on himself.

This is a man that had screwed up numerous times and been given multiple chances.

how can people jump to conclusions so quickly? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Do you actually think that if he did something like this that he would so easily agree to DNA testing? Why do you think they keep postponing court dates? Think about those questions before you jump to conclusions.

They might not have dna but they must have something important agaist him if he's still being charged.Who knows he might've done it and he'll get off scott free just like alot of others out there :( .If he didnt then they need to keep lookingbut alot of stuff is pointing to him.

Did anyone hear about the DNA? The local reporters said the police had the results and it wasn't this guy? Why won't they let him go? I hope the DA office and police are held accountable for the damages done. Injustice is sadly too common even in our small towns. I bet his rights have been violated.

Thanks for the support for Darren. Like the Bible says, "The truth will set you free." The truth fortunately is full of provable validity. There are those who genuinely want to see this man suffer and pay for pain he has caused them. They may be justified in their pain. This case however has NOTHING to do with any of those unrelated situations. Thankfully this case will be decided by 12 reasonable members of a jury. The EVIDENCE and FACTS will exhonorate him. He may not be an innocent man, but he did NOT commit THIS crime. For those of you that hate him, hate him for what he has done to YOU, not what you assume he has done to somebody else.

Saying enough is one thing. Putting a man in jail for a crime he didn't commit is quite another. Stick to the "crimes" he ACTUALLY commited.

I guess it's a good thing that his prior has NOTHING in common with this case and is also not admissable in this case. His character is no worse than yours. No better maybe, but certainly no worse. People need to stop allowing bitterness to cloud the facts.

Everybody just stop with the verbal vomite and wait until tomorrow when the jury decides . Nobody was there with him ...Right ? So nobody can say he did or did not do it . So just wait till tomorrow
