MY old lady works for walmart logistics... What they are doing is trying to cut the cost of transport. They have demanded their SUPPLIERS to reduce their packaging by 60%. On top of that they have decided to out source all of their logistics. Breaking contracts with EVERY MAJOR CARRIER. JB HUNT, SWIFT, SNYDER, WARNER, ECT. That was a bad move for them b/c they were the only ones that could haul at their sh1tty rates. GOOD LUCK WALMART. ha ha they might be good at buying in bulk low but they dont know crap about logistics!!!!! Thats why there company drivers only go from center points to store locations (FEW HUNDERED MILE RADIUS). They cant handle 48 states alone.... TO MUCH VOLUME and we all know no driver will work for minimum wage.... WELL MAYBE PRIME! ha ha just kidding guys! be safe keep truckin.... FRUSTRITED RECRUITER MIKE...

This one is for all the HUDD drivers killing themselves pulling WalMarts cheap containerized imports for peanuts -- HUDD Transportation is owned by the largest steamship line in the world yet they screw all their owner/operators including their sister company BTT....

Thanks oldtrucker, I laughed my ass off at the, as you say, WalMex, link cartoon.
Your right HUDD is a piece of crap motor carrier. I was leased to them at while back. They try to treat their o/o like children forcing cheap dispatches on the dummies that will bend over. Good link to the port trucker web site & I went on to the trucker forum they have @ hardtimetrucker. Great wealth of imformation from that forum & a lot of drivers on that site.

Last time I checked, you chose to be a trucker. You also chose to work for Hudd. Not as an employee but, as a contractor meaning that you really have no employment obligation to them other than a lease agreement which you are allowed to terminate at your convienence. For the record dixie, we do not force dispatch. You have the choice to run it or take your tractor to another company that suits your needs. I have at least 30 owner operators a week begging for employement right now. I dont think these guys would complain about any forced dispatch. Last but not least, you are children. I've never met a group of men who can't handle the most simple paperwork such logs, dvirs, and maintenance reports. Makes me wonder how you could handle the responsibilities of a family. Truck drivers have created the bed you lay in.

Thanks,

Hudd

Never seen a HUDD terminal manager yet that wasn't a FUCKING moron. No forced dispatch, you got to be kidding! What a lier. This is the worst trucking company around owned by the biggest steamship line Maersk and is the sister company to BTT. Ever since they moved to the east from California they have been the #1 bottom feeders of the industry.I would make a flower pot out o my truck before begging your likes for a job. Any one looking for work better stay clear of this company unless you like abuse. Just ask around. I think they may be about the level of Swift on a good day!!!!!

Boy this wacko has graduated from the HUDD boot camp for management with gold stars on his bonnet. I worked for this trash company at one time. They not only have forced dispatch but if you refuse any of the shit loads the management punishes you by running others around you. Their lease is a piece of crap which they do not honor. HUDD also used to charge cargo insurance among other illegal deductions without a paper trail to back up what was being taken out. After about six weeks I had all the fun I could stand out of these crooks. They are owned by the largest steamship line in the world, A.P. Mollar who owns Maersk so at first glance you figure they may be a pretty decent operation but don't waste your time with these white collar crooks. They lie about rates, they lie about everything else and they constantly try to find out if any drivers are organizing meetings to discuss problems on the job.

Typical statement by HUDD management. The said part here is that most truckers working for HUDD allow these arrogant a$$holes to mouth off at them like truckers are the kings servants. This is the chicken sh*t second rate sister company of BTT who isn't much better at being a slave master. The majority of pricks that manage their terminal operations are specially trained to f**k over owner/operator truckers. I used to work for these lowlife companies until the truth-n-leasing scam over them not paying the O/O correct percentage of what was actually being charged to the customer on billing.

I'm not a trucker by trade but everyone that needs freight hauled is going with the cheapest. I sure wouldn't buy a truck to just work cheap. With economy the way it is the trucking companies are just trying to stay in business even if it means being a little crooked to do it. Just think maybe if things get bad enough some drivers might have to work for Walmart as greeters for around $6 per hr. I don't think the trucking industry has seen the worst yet, soon everyone will be hauling for cheap. If you want to blame someone blame that black bastard who thinks he is the President of America.

How many whining truckers spent all of their christmas cash at Wal-Mart when they could have shopped www.madeinusa.com . Don't whine about the problem when you are part of it.
