Saw a very odd sight when I was driving through Avinger On Wednesday Aug 26th 2009. Someone's house I noticed had a confederate flag flying, whilst on a seperate polr the American flag was at half mast and upside down. Weird!

I heard a story from an old timer there... back in the 50s or 60s, the ceo of chrysler was pursuing the possibility of installing a plant, but it got shot down for one reason or another.
