The other question still remains is what caused his death? This is really sad. I wonder what caused his death and I can't even imagine what his family is wondering. I hope that all questions get answered for the sake of the family. My prayers are deeply with the family!!!!!

I praise the Sheriff for standing up and taking responsibility for the actions of his direct reports. Hopefully, the commissioners will appoint someone that will have an impartial view of the department and the actions that may have led to the death of this person. When the report does come out, the commissioners should support the recommendations that the report spells out and fully support the sherrif. The dispatcher, I believe should be placed on administrative leave until the conclusion of the investigation. There should be no excuse for a 911 operator to make a judgement call from their booth. That is why we have township fire departments and deputies that can repsond to the calls no matter how frivelous it may sound.

I work with two of Mr. Squires family members and cannot stress enough what a trying time they have had with not only loosing their father then having to wonder if he could be alive today had someone done their job correctly.Who in their right mind drives a car into a field to collect fire wood? Hello? Was anyone thinking here or were they worrying about their next arrest for meth? Money and publicity or lives? Which ruled the day?

Wonder why nobody has been asking how this happened again. About 2 years ago, Dekalb County dropped the ball on someone calling 911 about a tornado hitting their house and they didn't do anything. Looks like the Sheriff and his Chief Deputy don't know how to run their Department.

Since when do they not ask 911 callers for a call back number and their address any time I have called I was always asked for at least my call back number. Now they have to hunt these people down that is crazy!!!!!!

Now this is crazy, I can not believe they did not get the Pertinant information from that person at the time of the call. This is just awful for the family to have to live this daily. Why has the dispatcher's been put on leave. She still has not changed her attitude still rude and nasty. Guess she just has not learned her lesson. Wonder if she knows if she if found at fault the family has a right to sue her in civil court???? Think about it

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
