“Forest Service Law Enforcement is called upon regularly to deal with situations arising from alcohol use in the Avery Creek area” said Randy Burgess, District Ranger for the Pisgah Ranger District, in a press release.
The proposal that the Forest Service is considering would prohibit alcoholic beverages along the length of Avery Creek Road including 1,000 feet on either side of the roadway. The alcohol ban would exclude the White Pines Group Campground. Riiiiiight. Since everyone knows already that making something illegal **INSTANTLY** solves the problem. |
