Sixty kids suddenly showing up at a private club pool no matter the color would create some havoc I would expect. This guy wasn't thinking at all when he took their money. Obvious poor planning and, if he would have thought it through, he could have still helped those kids out. Now, he is really sinking trying to swim his backstroke.

Dumb move... once he took the money, he was sunk. He can't discriminate to customers based on the color of their skin.

It amazes me that there are people posting here find this news unbelievable.

Racism is alive and kicking every single day in America.

African-American still are discriminated against, there are whites who still look down their noses at them, mistreat them and call them out their names. It is sad that people like this still exist, ut they do and sadly they will continue to breed hate for generations to come.

racism isn't just white on black... note the firefighters just in the news for being held back from succeeding because of racism.

I lived near the Malvern Hills pool in the 1980's and remember the same effect. Once a certain critical mass of black kids entered the pool, it was guaranteed that a sizable percentage of the white kids would vacate the water. It was not any kind of organized exodus, or mandated by racist parents, but predictably spontaneous. Often the kids of all races were neighbors, friends, and played together freely, but getting wet together was less likely.

Furthermore, you haven't a clue where I live, so it would be in your best interest to not assume nor speculate.

I am well aware of what racism looks like. And I also know racism has no specific skin color or nationality to attack. Those educated and uneducated, those both rich and poor participate and are targeted. I don't need you to give me any lessons on racism.

But THIS particular post I responded to was about Black children being discriminated against based on the color of their skin.

Unless I just missed it, I didn't see one word in this particular article about those firefighters. I was staying on topic, not back sliding two weeks!

well excuse me, but your post sounded like you weren't just talking about this one instance therefore not exactly staying on topic.

Since it appeared you only mentioned white on black racism in America I thought I would refresh your memory with a recent event of racism towards whites.

There are thousands of "white's only" swimming pools throughout the south. They are disquised as "private clubs". South Georgia is full of them as are Alabama, Mississippi, TN, LA, Arkansas, SC and even NC.

Yes they were wrong for the pool incident but why is it not mentioned about the blacks who attacked a white family in their own yard changing its a black thing.
