I also hope she can find peace. This same issue happen to be But it was not 80,000 it was $800.00 and i was very upset I could not imagen lossing 80,000 I feel her pain

Mr.Pilawa should be put behind bars and in no way type or form should he work as a contractor. This is very scary and I think all of NJ and NY should be aware of what Mr.Pilawa is doing. As for Adelina I hope you get all your money and much more. Nobody deserves to have their dream home ruined by someone who doesn't know what hard work really is!!

i worked for object, inc and robert pilawa. he has done many jobs without the proper permits, takes much longer to finish jobs than what is stated on the contracts, always asks for money ahead of the payment schedule, steals merchandise from home depet, takes alot of illegal pain medication, has no contractors license, and is an illegal alien in this country along with his coworker tom.

Hm. I had dinner with Mr Pilawa yesterday and he was the most awesome man everr!! He gave us wine, food, woman, beer! It was most excellent! He was braaging about the new condo he was building. What a swell guy!

we had similar situation where i work. there was more to the story. I could not tell if contractor actually had horrible time of it (accident,loss of seasoned workers, some demanding intimidating homeowners etc.) but the results for homeowner were not good and not so good for the contractor either.

We recently had a horrible experience with Robert Pilawa. He was hired to renovate our NYC apt. We selected him because he told us he would be done in advance of the birth of our baby. Needless to say, he ran way over schedule (our baby was born and we had to live with my parents for 2 months) and he ultimately abandoned the job. We had paid him for our countertops and had to re-pay the granite company, as Robert disappeared with our money. We paid him to add a bathroom that was never started. He left us with no running water in our kitchen (and we had a newborn) and we ultimately had to hire another contractor to finish the kitchen. He did not finish the electrical work in the apartment and we had to hire an electrician to do that as well. I hope this post prevents others from going through the same horror.

We have the same experience and we filed a complaint with the judge. He had a judgement in our case. We can put this guy in prison for breach of contract and running away with our money. We have to encourage other victims so we will have a good case since I have contract and judgement from the state and can reopen a case in my home town as well.

why was your case dismissed in the first place? if you have signed contracts and proof of unfinished work this scumbag should be in jail!

Hegravel and his wife poromised us that the work will be done and so by my good intention and good heart I dismissed it. The judge told me that if I like to open the case again he will open it. Since there are a lot of victim from this guy then we can put him to jail together with Tomas his assistant.

and i assume he didn't live up to the promise? you most definately should refile the claim. he and tom stole your money and never had any intention of doing the work. trust me on that. they used the money to help finance other jobs which they never completed. they are thieves

This is Ms. Cruz's sister. What judge did you speak to? We will go to the same judge as soon as possible. It's ridiculous on how this guy keeps victimizing people with his wife's help! They both should go to jail.

you should get the case reopened. send robert, tom and his wife to jail. keep calling his wife at the number i posted. let everyone in her office know what kind of scumbag she is married to. he's driving around in a hummer while his victims have to clean up the wreakage he caused. he must be stopped. i have alot dirt on these guys.

Eduardo, he ask me to dismiss it. I don't want at that point to put him to jail since I already lost money. He promised to finish the job but did not do it. Thanks for your input. I will revisit the case and open up the case again.

She filed this past October. That bastard is committing several counts of fraud. My sister reached out to the county and state consumer affairs, the Governer and the Major of Woodbridge. She is going to continue working with the Governor of NJ and is not giving up. His wife is not a trust worthy person either and should not be allowed to practice real-estate. These are horrible greedy people.
