Ashlyn went to my dance school. I only knew her from ballet classes but I know she was realy cool and a realy good friend. So please stop being mean to her and saying mean things to her, Because she didnt deserve this, she was an inocent 12 yaer old girl. So leave her alone please. This was nobodys fault just STOP if your thinking Ashlyn was a bad person beacuse she wasnt she was a wonderfull girl full of love and happieness. RIP Ashlyn Marie

I didn't know Ashlyn but I live near Avenel and twice a week I take the train to school from South Amboy. I see where she died every week when the train stops at Avenel and my heart breaks every time we stop there. I still think about this accident a lot because I can't understand how this could happen to such a young girl. And even though I didn't know her..if it were possible I would give my own life if it would bring her back and I mean that. She was only 12 years old..she should have had the chance to live her life. Some of these comments are completely heartless and rude. This was an accident. Don't call her stupid. She was just young and it is a terrible shame that she is no longer with us.Ashlyn, may we meet someday in Heaven <3

when a tran comes get away from that hole that tran did not stop just going thru they where not playing

A lot of these new electric trains, you can't hear them coming.....until they're sounding the horn and by then it's too late.
The motorman can't do anything at that point. If he slams on the brakes, he'll end up derailing the train and killing lots more people in the process.
