One can only hope that some students will read this on their own. PARENTS should make the read it.I have spoken to 2 groups of students in the last 2 weeks and will speak again one more time next week. They seemed attentive maybe it soaked in.In our School system there is a After Prom party at the High School from 9p.m. till 3 a.m. with games, bands , plenty of foods, it will be chaparoned by some of our Ambulance, Fire, Police and others from the Community. We dont wnan to BURY our Teens.Enjou the prom and remember this: 1 Glass of Winr $6.00+, 1 ottle of Beer, 1 Mixed Drink $9.00+. Funeral $6,000.00/$8,000.00, 2 weeks in the Hospital $1000,000.00
( minimum), Getting home safe 'n sober----------PRICELESS!. Please do not cause your parents endless the pain and suffering if you do something "WRECKLESS"!

You’ve seriously underestimated the cost of a funeral. It may be as you said for your part of NY, but here on Long Island the cost is much more (I've been through it). With the plot already paid for expect to pay $12,000 -$15,000 for a modest and reasonable service. On top of that is the plaque or stone marker (additional $1,600). If a plot needs to be bought, expect another $3,000 -$5,000 on top of that.

My funeral information came from a Friend who is a Director.Thanks for the input.
