SB5 bees

SB5 had nothing to due with the turn around or should I say airing out of the school budget. The 12 steps that were presented to the public on Jim's site predated any teacher contracted negotiations.

Has anyone noticed that the contract was up in 2008 and was extended year after year because the SEA was sure the public would cave and vote in a levy. Funny thing that all teacher unions in the area were renegotiating and coming to the table except Springboro. Scott Maney had to try to hold out. He did not see the train comin down the track.

The reason we are seeing a change in the numbers is because Jim Rigano and Dave Petroni came to each meeting to explain a different approach. They were given "talk to the hand". Only till the district saw how backed in the corner they finally were did they finally listen and change. Union had nothing to do with it. SB5 had nothing to do with it.

Rigano and Petroni had everything to do with it.
