This female needs to do jail time. Justice needs to be served for this little boy. How in the hell can she kill her nephew and in their own damn yard? For cry'n-out-loud, adult's should know to be aware, especially in your own front yard. Jail time is definately the answer for her stupid-ignorant-inattention!!!

Are you serious? How could you even come on here and type such nonsense!
You are cold hearted and a hater. This will haunt Christina for the rest of her life. You must not have ever been around a 2 year old...they are quick.
You obviously dont know the layout of these 2 houses and their driveways where it happened. You need to shut your stupid mouth or tell me who you are and I will shut it for you.

I feel so sorry for everyone involved! I would never place judgement on anyone about something like that. I wouldn't want to find myself in them same shoes. This is why they are called accidents! I have learned in this life this things I have judged the harshest, I have found myself in the same shoes.. Be sooo carefull.

No Name, you have no idea what you are talking about. You are just plain evil to be talking like that. I have seen Christy hurt. I have seen her pain. People like you are what is wrong with society today. They form conclutions and the just go spouting off with no thoughts of the feelings of others. You think you know it all, but all you have done is make yourself look petty, mean, and selfish. Oh, yeah, and I second what JMO said, shut your mouth or I will definatly be willing to shut it for you.

No Name is just STUPID and you just can't fix that. On my best day as an adult I wish I could be as fast as a two year old, they move like greased lightning and that is why I choose never to watch one anymore I just be too old.
God in his infinite wisdom does not tell us why these things happen. It doesn't make the family feel any better, but Gods will is Gods will.

Thanks for your post there! I agree we all need to say a prayer for all of that family tonight! These people are idiots! Poor little thing, and the poor aunt that ran over him will never be the same. This was a sad sad day for Ava.

I hope that the aunt is all right, it is going to take some time for her wounds to heal. All we can do for this family is pray that God gives her enough strength to be the wonderful mother she is to her babies. This is a sad tragedy that no one should have to go through.

No Name,
It's pretty obvious why you didn't put a screename up. How could anyone be so ignorant? Are you at all aware of the fact that Christie has to live with this for the rest of her life? Are you aware that Jason's Grandma (who was there) begged Chris DeGase to not file any charges because it was an ACCIDENT? Are you aware that Jason was at Christie's house playing all morning? Either you do not know this family at all or you are 100% completely ignorant.
The actual details of this accident are as follows: Christie and Summer pulled up to Summer's house in the van. Summer got out to bring groceries in the house and Christie unbuckled Jason so he could go see Grandpa (who was mowing the lawn about 20ft. away). Jason got out. Summer came back outside and got the baby and the rest of the groceries and went back in the house. Summer thought Grandpa had Jason. Christie looked when she went to pull out and didn't see Jason with Grandpa and thought Summer had him. ACCIDENT occured.

So since everyone has something to say, say it when you know the facts. There were 3 adults there. All of them blame themselves. They need to deal with that. If you know either Christie or Summer and have seen them in the past week, you would know that they are usually together. This has made them closer. Everyone in this family has regrets and shoulda, woulda, coulda's but that doesn't change anything.

Lets try to pray for the family instead of spreading vicious rumors. There are other children in this situation that don't need to hear the rumors. Summer has another son. Christie has 6 kids. Let's at least try to think about all of those kids and let Jason rest in peace.

For some reason I have a feeling that No Name is Holly Welker. Please correct me if I'm wrong about this, but if I'm right then you had better watch what you say to those 4 older kids about their Stepmom next weekend.

i dont know the story but this is my opinion from what i have heard...personally i have been around a 2 year old alot of times and in some cases have had two 2 year olds at one time so i know how quick they are and how in a split second they can be gone my heart does go out to the family for their loss but i have to wonder where the mother of the boy was or whoever was responsible for the boy because in my experience of 2 year olds or any child for that matter even in my own front yard, at wal-mart or anywhere where there is a moving car around i grab my 2 year olds hand or pick them up to make sure they are safe and out away from the cars that are moving i am not blaming the mother or anyone for that fact but it is something to think about. even to the parents not related to this story when your walking across a parking lot where is your child? are you holding their hand are you watching where they are at? not calling anybody a bad parent but just wanting people to think about things because someday somewhere it can happen to anyone

The mother was bringing groceries in the house. She thought the child was with Grandpa. The aunt thought the child was with Mom. The child usually runs to Grandpa when he seem him but for some reason he didn't this time. The aunt couldn't see him in front of the van, but with that van, if someone is right in front of it they need to be at least 4 ft tall to be seen. The aunt didn't see him and assumed he was with mom so she went to pull out. All 3 of them feel horrible about it. They all blame themselves and think it could have been prevented, but who knows? God has a plan for everything and everyone.

I agree! Just seems like God wants all the good ones up there with him before we are ready to let them go! Again the family just needs lots of prayers people!!
