[A Friend]

Just wanted to let everyone know on here about the death of Randy Mix if you haven't already heard. It was quite a shock. He lived in Lawrenceburg Tn. and he and his wife seemed to be doing really well and she filed for divorce and last Tuesday night he shot himself and his wife. I know he had many friends in Pinckneyville. We need to keep his family in our prayers, especially that brave little girl he left behind.

I think its sorry that randy killed donna and he will pay for wut he did he wont be judged here since he kll hisself but he wll be judged in front god and will be punished for it too i never liked randy noway he treated donna like crap i hope i will forget bout randy but donna i ill never forget my you rest in peace now donna you will never have any worries,pain or suffering any more

Randy came up to Fairbanks,Alaska and he was a very close family friend. I met donna and there youngest daughter once. They seemed like a happy family!Randy was always a fun and happy guy! i never thought something like this would happen. It was a shock for me when my family told me about randy and donna's death. I miss him a lot. He was a good guy in my eyes and my family/friends eyes. He is missed dearly.

i loved randy as a friend. donna was beautiful inside and out. i will only remember randy as the man he was and not the tragic event that happened. i'm sorry that he snapped but i chose to remember the great person he was.

Randy and Donna for those who knew them know that they both were very awsome peaple. For me they were my father and mother inlaw.They are "nanna and tap paw" To my children. It is a very tragic thing that happen. We will never know why,but it is in gods hands now so please lets remember the love and laughter we all had with them. I know for myself i could not have asked for a better mother and father inlaw!!!! I love them both very much!!!!!!! And so does there daughters,son and grandchildren so please keep the hate comments to yourself. We ALL are dealing with this one day at atime. GOD SAYS "HE WHO HATES HAS COMMITED MURDER IN HIS OWN HEART" SO PLEASE LETS NOT HATE,IT is OK TO HURT. If we have hate in our hearts there is no room for god to heal our hearts right? it is one of hardest things i have ever had to deal with myself.and take care of my wife AND CHILDREN.But god can and will see us all through. "Deputies were called to a home Tuesday at around 9 p.m. regarding a domestic dispute on Highway 64 near Lawrenceburg.
When they arrived, they found an 11-year-old girl who said her parents, Randy and Donna Mix, had been fighting. While authorities were at the house, they said they heard muffled shots inside the house. They then had the girl lead them to the basement, where they discovered a vault.
Police called the manufacturer and got the combination to open the vault, but it failed to open. They then discovered that the vault had been wedged shut from the inside.
“The door had been barricaded from the inside and we had to use the Jaws of Life to physically remove the 1,500-pound doors from its casing, at which time we were able to make entry. It took us about two hours,” said Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Terry Beecham.
When it was finally opened, they found inside the bodies of the man and his wife.
Police said they believe the husband was responsible for both of their deaths. The couple had no history of domestic abuse but were going through a divorce, officials said.
Donna Mix’s father Charles Wray said most people did not know that Randy Mix made his daughter suffer every day, not with his hands but with his words.
"She was the victim of abuse for years and years, and I didn't think it would come to this,” he said.
The couple's 11-year-old daughter is now with relatives and Wray said she has dealt with it well so far.
“She's taking it like a trooper. I couldn't believe it. I don't think a grown person could have done any better, probably not as good as she did,” he said.
The sheriff's office has brought in the Tennessee Public Safety Network to counsel some of the first responders. They said the deaths are a shock to the entire community." ....CRAZY IS AS CRAZY DOES
