Slain soldier's husband charged with arson

The husband of a slain Fort Bragg soldier whose remains were found in a brush fire near Camp Lejeune has been charged with first-degree arson.

According to reports this guy not only threatened his wife, but other people too, with a loaded gun. He committed adultery and his mistress in turn harassed his wife. He allegedly committed arson and is now a suspect in his wife's murder.
Quite a career for a 23 year old !

Hasn't anyone learned by now that the media doesn't always display the truth!? Johnny is my cousin and he did love Holley but things happen between married young milarty soldiers especially. I am so saddened at what happened to Holley. He is not the crazy mad man everyone thinks he is. Think of your own family member going through this. Haven't you ever known someone who went to war for our country and get their mind completely screwed up by it??? My Johnny is a good kid. He and Holley both admited to my Aunt that the threats that she felt WEREN'T real. My Aunt LOVED Holley and constantly boasted about her. She was a part of the family just as any other spouse of their child would be. YOU all need to learn the facts and stop going off of what the media has to say/post. So maybe you should wish rape and death upon yourself first!

I'm very sorry for you. It can't be easy to deal with this no matter what side you are on. What a tragic loss for their families.

Obviously somebody wanted to hurt her. Even if she did commit adultery,as you say, she didn't deserve to be burned and tossed out like trash.

Lately there has been lots of stories about soldiers and murder. Very sad.

This is what happens when a Mad man decides that he want's revenge and sends thousands of mother's young innocent children to fight a senseless war they come back with their minds twisted and this same mad man doesn't make sure they get the mental and medical help they need (even though there isn't much there can be done for people who have watched people blown up or half there heads shot off). Feel so sorry for both families both have suffered. The husband is still alive but the son his parents knew is gone forever because of this war and are being taught to kill but there is nothing that shows them when to stop.

This isn't the first case and it won't be the last one either. My friend and I were talking and thought the age should go back to 21 years before you fight in a war. 18 year olds are NOT mentally ready for what is to lie ahead. Maybe you can join at 18 BUT you shouldn't be allowed to fight until you are 21. NOT that 21 is some magical number or anything BUT... I hate war!!!!!!! IT does more harm here than there!!!!!

Having been married 3 times and divorced 3 times i can say with certainty there is nothing worth killing over. True war is hard but its not the reason for killing one's spouse. People kill when they think that they are losing every thing, from money to spouse moving on with their life. To see a former lover or husband or wife with another person can be heart stopping, but should not be the end of life for either. Given time the heart does mend. If a person ask for help its available thou church, military, police an many other channels. There is never a reason to kill a loved one.

Are you saying that the media had it wrong, and she is still alive and well? Oops, no, he killed her and I stand by my ugly wish for him! Plenty of us have fought and felt like hell coming back, but we didn't kill our spouses or girlfriends.
