Close Congress so no one can vote on an energy plan seems to be the Domocrates plan.

Great congress should work quit well with Obama they will get even less done

Good. We need an actual energy policy that gets us off oil completely rather than the joke of a plan McCain has to give us 1% more oil in seven years by drilling offshore. Great! That means in 7 years I can save 4 cents off a gallon of gas!

McCain is just 4 more years of Bush. I think we've had enough of that.

A word from a Marine who just saw Barack Obama in the middle east
This comment from a US Marine, does not go along with what we saw on national liberal TV... S.

Hi all FYI--for what freedom is worth.

Tiffany and Jeff Porter are our friends who live in Virginia .

Hello everyone,
As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along
that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his
visit to
'The War Zone'. I wanted to share with you what happened.
He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area
to
meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram.

As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and
didn't
say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he
finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top
tent
that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights)
so he
could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the
opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.

So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home
that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to
make
an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are
providing the freedom that they are providing for you.

I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas
Cowboy Cheer leaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the
President of the United States . I just don't understand how anyone would
want him to
be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around
those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.

If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know
what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is
all fake.

This is a lie. He retracted it and the Army has denounced it. Stop with the lies already.

"But angry Army brass debunked the Obama-bashing soldier's allegations, which went viral Thursday over the Web and on military blogs such as Blackfive.

The e-mail claims Obama repeatedly shunned soldiers on his way to the Clamshell - a recreation tent - to "take his publicity pictures playing basketball."

"These comments are inappropriate and factually incorrect," said Bagram spokesman Army Lt. Col. Rumi Nielson-Green, who added that such political commentary is barred for uniformed personnel."

Army Times sent an e-mail to Porter, a Utah Army National Guard member assigned to the 142nd Military Intelligence Battalion, asking if he could verify that he wrote the controversial e-mail and requesting an interview.

Porter’s reply declined the interview request, but said:

“I am writing this to ask that you delete my e-mail and not forward it, after checking my sources some of the information that was put out in my e-mail was wrong. This e-mail was meant only for my family. Please respect my wishes and delete the e-mail and if there are any blogs you have my e-mail portrayed on I would ask if you would take it down too.”

Slick Willie tells the "TRUTH"

WASHINGTON - Bill Clinton regrets some things he said - and didn't say - on the campaign trail. But there's one thing he still can't utter: Barack Obama is ready to be President.

"You can argue that nobody is ready to be President," the former President told ABC News.

"You can argue that even if you've been vice president for eight years, that no one can be fully ready for the pressures of the office," Clinton said Monday during a visit to Rwanda.

So then neither is McCain. What's your point?

This is an email hoax. Check out Snopes or any other urban legend website. They all claim this is false. Some people sure can be lead around by the nose when they don't think for themselves or check out facts!!!!!!!

It is easy for Mr. Obama to say he would support drilling now that he knows Congress will not be in session to accomplish the task. Another mess that the NEW DEMOCRAT party has left the country in. I hope they enjoy their vacation while the rest of us work to pay their bills.

the war with IRAQ was a FAKE war created on lies!

mccains campaign et al wins the fake war campaigns by a LANDSLIDE. don't say republicans failed at anything, they've been raking in millions and billions of dollars, on their campaign issues -- EXXON's been doing VERY WELL with the war effort(s)-- after all EXXON spills black gold into the sea -- it is so rich it throws oil away

and we pay more at gas pumps -- where are truthseeking, honest citizens with integrity who will seek truth to power such as Kerry's swift-boating, will we see this again in obama's campaigns against oil mongers who rip democracy away from its subjects?

I thought this was America, unless you want us to be a monarchy like the country we supposidly broke away from but are still beholden to somehow cause we can't speak freely without being silenced through weapons technology such as their secret diplomacy with mafioso type mayors or other personnel to their HOMELAND? security.
