Looks like GM retirees might have to make it on Social Security and failing investments. No more Christmas gifts for the grandchildren or dental care. Too bad that so many continued to vote Republican even after "W" tried to gut Social Security. Most thought that they were safe in their tree house and pulled the ladder up after them. Little did they realize that the Republican termites had eaten all the tree roots and base of the tree by removing important regulations and safeguards in place since the great depression. Now that they realize they are not safe, I predict their thinking will come around a bit.

lets put the blame on the republicans, yea right you people still cant get it right. of course lets not let the jews off the hook either. instead lets just keep paying union dues when sooner or later that union is going to up and turn their back on their people. by the way where was the uswa when i lost my job in the mill in 1982. just poof and they were gone. since im a taxpaying citizen and also an independent voter let them clowns file chapter 11. enough is enough. hey duke that means you

There is a mass of ignorant people around the U.S. who know less than nothing about the GM worker. The prime 'joke' is they believe GM workers are riding the gravy train. They believe that an employee who works for 30 years on the assembly line and gets a survivable pension has a racket. I would like to see them work an ASSEMBLY LINE FOR 30 MINUTES to get the real picture. They just would not survive. EVIL REIGNS IN THIS COUNTRY SO WE WILL ALL GO DOWN TOGETHER. HA,HA HA
