DNR hearings focus on gypsy moths

State wildlife officials will host a series of public meetings across the state this winter on strategies for combating the invasive gypsy moth, which has a foothold in northern Indiana.

Will this be taken seriosly or pooh poohed and ignored like global warming, air pollution,top soil depletion and anything that inconvienances us.

hey union jack, this is a little different than global warming. Not a whole lot warmer outside right now than any other January.They have found the gypsy moth and that can be documented, unlike global warming, which should be pooh poohed.

the effect of global warming is weather extremes not just warmer temps. ie severe droughts, stronger hurricanes, record snowfall, record rains, etc... sound familiar? Last summer was one of the driest and 2 yrs ago was record snowfall in IN. Global warming can be proven to a scientific mind, yours is obviously too small to grasp reality.
