Has anyone hearing about a recent demotion of a Austin Police Officer? Nothing being printed in the local newspaper. Seems to be hush-hush like most things in this town.

Well i guess you right. and of course "word on street" has it there lot more going on at City Hall. I heard they had to to make the changes or AG coming in. The below was copied from WMPI website

Changes Announced in Austin's Law Enforcement

Some changes are being made in the Austin police force. The announcement was made yesterday that Austin Police Chief Lonnie Noble would be moving from his post to the position of a detective. Austin Mayor Doug Campbell made the announcement. During the announcement, Campbell admitted to having troubles with the decision, saying that Noble was a clear choice for the job, but was so effective in his position as Police Chief that he didnít want to take him out of it. All parties involved seemed enthusiastic about the change. Lonnie Noble was present for the announcement, and shared his thoughts on his change in position, saying that he will miss his previous role, but he is looking forward to taking on the challenges of being a detective. The role of police chief will be taken over by Officer Donald Spicer on a temporary basis, pending interviewing applicants for the position. Also announced at the meeting was the creation of the position of an Ordinance Officer to enforce laws to keep the city clean. That position was given to Larry Stout

There is more to the story about why the officer was demoted but it won't be printed in the local paper. Nor, will the Austin's elected official's ever let the truth be known to the public. Much like the public was never informed about another city offical over a year ago. Word on the street is, there ia a lot of disgusting things going on at city hall.

No one was demoted that officer that went down in rank and was promoted back to captain or something. I was at the meeting. I was told his rank only changed because the the department heads rank changed and from i hear will soon be gaining that rank back when a chief is appointed.

If you are so against law enforcement, how could you hear it from him. Maybe you are a cop yurself and tryin to make people believe you are a badass or somthing. would be easy to throw attention on somebody else to make it easier to do your dirty work.

Pretty neat how you do the different provider thing there. Once from Louisville, KY and the next from Bedford, Indiana. I would say that one of you is a cop and the other is a wanna be. Unless you have special access to websites that allows you to monitor activities I won't mention at this time. I have the same access if that is the case. Sounds like one of the old officers from the apd that would be mad not to make sergeant. Who got promoted in front of you??? I will have to look back at old municipal files and see who that might have been. Sure something can be dug up. Probably didn't make it because you can't spell sergeant. Anyway, very interesting. Until later.

My opinion and most wise people will agree that everyone on the police force and in the council are all dishonest , untrustworthy and do NOT know or care how to do their job ..they only thinner about filling their pockets ...you would think Donald would fix his teeth tho!!!!! What an embarrassing mess of people to stand up for the community!!! I really hope that better people will end up in their positions and take care of all the problems that small town has and karma takes care of everyone in ofiices sorry asses!!!!
