If you do not have healthcare how can Obamacare be bad for a person needing to see a doctor ?Hermain Cain failed to answer this question when he was asked.Welstar hospital could use a break from so many that do not have healthcare insurance, many of which are poor and white and republican.Yet they do not support Obamacare but still fill up the ER at welstar douglasville and tanner with no health insurance.I went to the ER last week and it took so long, the nurse said that it was due to so many without insurance clogging the system.Obamacare is meant to free up these ER's so the real emergencies can be treated right away.Obama does have it's flaws, but so does anything worth having.......Republicans just need to help fix it and stop complaining about it.
Cause we all know we need it....before you rush one of your children to the ER and they die due to the ER being clogged up by those needing healthcare !

Liar!
No way did a nurse tell you that. Against HIPAA rules, WellStar corporate policy and why would they tell you anything anyway?

I just spent the last 5 weeks in and out of Wellstar Douglas Hospital. (I finally got a diagnosis or Sarcoidosis) The ER is a complete zoo. They do their best, they are just sooo busy with soooo many patients. One of the problems is that everyone that is admitted to the hospital has to go through the ER. Each time I was admitted, I was at my doctor's office first, who then sent me to the ER, who then admitted me. It used to be that your doctor could call the hospital and have you admitted without going through the ER but not anymore.

There is a lot wrong with the Obamacare. It has been set up to fail, when finally it is admitted that it will not work, this is when single payer system will take it's place.

Right now it seems that there is a shortage of doctors and that is why there is so many foreign medical doctors, we actually give a lot of incentives for them to come and practice in the United States to fill in the gaps. The problems that is foreseen in this new Health Care Reform is the fact that many doctors are not willing to work with the new system and will either be retiring and/or going into different fields that will not be reimbursed by the Medicaid and/or Medicare.

One good thing that did come out of this Reform Act was the fact that health care facilities had to bring their technology up to date, many were out dated and could not share information from one doctor to the other, hence the multiple test that had to be done.

By the way I wouldn't challenge me on this...I do know what I'm talking about! I've spent the last four years with my nose in a lot of books in regards to this very subject!

You are correct that it is designed to fail. Obama wanted a single payer system but couldn't get it passed, so they opted to put this plan in knowing that it wouldn't work.
My wife just got a letter from her employer saying that they would have to raise the amount of employee insurance contributions by at least 28% because of the Affordable Health Care Act. Sounds pretty affordable, huh? They also said that there may be a possibility that they would not offer any type of health benefits if cost were too high. Remember Obama lied and said it won't cost you anymore and the healthcare act will lower premiums. He also lied and said you will get to keep your insurance and your favorite doctors. Then he and his Socialist Democratic buddies passed and pushed that bill up Americas a*s.

This is getting more difficult to do, since this law came on the books employers began cutting hours to the 30's so people would not be considered full time. The administration then took action and made 30 hours or more a week are considered full time, even though the employee does not get overtime for anything worked over 30 hours. Because of this change in the administration employers now have cut hours down into the 20 hour range, meaning more people are having to hold more then one job to make ends meet still with no health care. Employers are hiring more people but they are underemployed.

The state was suppose to set up an exchange so citizens could afford insurance at a lower rate, since so many states banned together and took it to the Supreme Court then many have refused to set up this exchange to hopefully bankrupt the system before it even starts.

For the most part, the clueless and uneducated don't care, as long as someone is taking care of them.
