Please help.....being stalked/harrassed in Austell

I hope someone will read this and maybe know some information. I'm being harrassed and stalked by a group of people and I have no idea why. I have worked in Austell for 14 years and recently moved here a few years ago, only to find out that there seem to be a lot of hatred in this community. I have found a handful of wornderful people, but I'm being singled out and harrassed.
I get followed by a certain group of individuals, and even have people drive by and call me names and such. I have no idea why, but have proof. I have discussed this with the police department, and filed a report on one of them...however, I'm not trying to stir up anything, just protect myself. If anyone can help I would sure appreciate it. I'm a nice guy who seems to be hated by my neighborhood.

Hi, you poor thing! I wouldn't under estimate these people! First, I would contact the sherriff's department local and state authorities! They are there to PROTECT and serve! I would make sure you contact everyone and if you are not getting response contact your state legislature , GBI and FBI!

Take their threats and comments seriously! Lastly, I am sorry to say, but I would go ahead and find a new area for you to move to! I know that is like giving in in a sense, but things happen for a reason and you should go where there is love in a community!

I hope you will stay on the authorites backs about this. But, I wouldn't trust that someone maybe just foolishly talking! Austell is not a great place to live, I don't believe! Good luck and may GOD bless you and keep you and yours safe!!

Hey Brandi,

You seem to be someone who is decent and cares about people. Thanks for resonding. I hear what you are saying and I have thought about that, however, I'm not the type of person to let someone roll over on me. I make a stand (as stupid as that might be in this case). I will not move because people want me to, I will move on my terms.

The thing that bothers me the most is the lack of humanity here. I figured someone with a heart would have heard a rumor and at least let me in on the secret...know what I mean? But...none as of yet. I guess I have to continue filming and capturing what they are doing...and go after them one by one....which is stupid....I cant win, or ignore them.

What is strange is this group does not hide what they are doing and I have video proof of their actions....stalking/harrassing ..hate crime. That is now being treated more severely within the law....they seem to not think about the consequences.

Go to the Prosecuting Attorney in your county. Get advice on what you can do. You might get an attorney to represent you on a 'contingency' basis (which means you don't owe if he doesn't win). You might get in touch with an attorney through the American Civil Libertys Union. There IS help. You might move, to make it easier on your nerves? In the meantime. Keep your intentions to yourself.. until it is done! In the meantime.. keep your doors locked..If someone comes (especially at night) Don't answer the door- unless you KNOW who is there. get a good faithful dog that will be protective of you. I am having a similar problem in New York City but cannot get anyone to believe that a GROUP would stalk me - stalking is only done by one person. The people stalking me are also my neighbors. I am too timid most times to take photos. They follow and harass me but don't speak. They are fearless in their actions. If I were you, I would move because if your stalkers are like mine, they won't stop.

Take the video to the cops , let them see the for there self. If you don,t get action from them, I would go to the GBI

Unless you are a criminal of some sort, such as a sex offender, rapist, murderer, etc, perhaps someone has put you on a list of Targeted Individuals, otherwise known as a TI

Please google Targeted Individual and read about these organized groups that are recruited to make life difficult for people who have angered someone in some way at some point in time.

It's real, but police departments generally don't take it seriously unless you have good proof and video evidence to defend yourself, along with a name, date of birth and social security number of the person stalking/targeting you. In other words, they generally don't care.

Please google Targeted Individual or TI and see if you recognize any of the signs. Anyone could be on a list and not even realize what it happening. Hope this helps.

Two of my friends and my self have been going through this exact same garbage in Florida since the beginning of 2006. It appears that it is going on EVERYWHERE and the authorities have been given orders to not investigate the claims, or to tell the person complaining they are delusional.

You can google "organized stalking" to get more information on the subject. Unfortunately, if you are, in fact, a target of organized stalking, moving will not help.

Stay strong and don't let them bait you into doing anything illegal!
