Argyle teacher arrested for improper student relationship

the police have NO evidence in this case. The student in question made suggestive moods toward the coach, then when caught, made excuses and played victim. This man's life is ruined because of some dumb girls stupid game.

Hey, Argyle? Even if the girl had consensually decided to have sex with the 30 year old coach, he still would be guilty of a felony.

Since the story references his kissing her and touching her, that would qualify as Sexual Contact, sufficient to make Improper Relationship Between Educator And Student:

You don't think that the Argyle Police have obtained the phone records? You don't think that they've seen his text messages? You don't think that they've interviewed the substitute teacher?

"NO evidence," eh? Well, they had enough to establish probable cause sufficient to convince a judge to sign a warrant and set a bond of $5000.

If there's no evidence, then the grand jury can No Bill him, and he'll be cleared. But if he is found guilty (and it looks pretty bad for him), then he'll be convicted of a 2nd degree felony. Don't you WANT guys like this weeded out? Do you really want someone who would play any kind of dangerous game to be a teacher in a school? Even if he had convinced himself that it was all in fun, and that he would NEVER have sex with her, what, exactly, was he doing? Why was he texting her or calling her at all? Why was he calling her out of classes?

These are not the actions of a good mentor to 16 year old girls.

hey, amazed at the fuss? taking this a little personally "eh"? and actually it doesnt look pretty bad for him. You seem pretty well informed......Which i actually happen to be and the "student in question" was texting and calling him! the texts found that were "sexual" were from her, his texts were clean....

and no we don't want coaches and teachers like coach davidson "weeded" out. The only creep playing games is the "victim".

A man's innocent life is being ruined and his reputation wrongfully tarnished, so back off.
