The benefit for the Animal Shelter seemed to be a great success and was very commendable. In last weeks Azle News the Mayor was pleading with the residents of Azle to support Azle businesses, in fact, to put a little extra effort into that endeavor.
Obviously he meant just, OTHER residents of Azle, as he held his little foray in Lake Side.
Just another "do as I say, not as I do".

I'm new to the Azle area but I haven't seen a very large restaurant in this area. Maybe they knew the turnout would be large and weren't able to find a venue to accommodate that many people. Just a thought...
