After months of anticipation and looking forward to the new Sonic opening in my neighborhood, I have to say I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the result. My first experience was on Friday night. They were relatively busy, but not overwhelmed as they have been in the past two week since opening. I ordered a cheeseburger, small onion rings, and small drink for a total of almost $7.00, yet the meat was barely a quarter inch thick, virtually ALL of the food was cold, and the onion rings were at least half only onions with no batter on them. Okay...so it was a bit later a night (10:30), so I decided to be fair and give them another chance. My friend and I went back on Saturday afternoon. They were even less busy than the night before, yet we got pretty much the same result. We had also ordered the banana pudding shake, but when they came there was so much gooey stuff glommed on the bottom and it was so disgusting and gross we had to throw most of them out. Neither time did they bother to provide napkins with the order. Well...I've given Sonic a fair shot and must say the ads look great, but the product is waaayyy overpriced and the quality rates definite D-. Sorry guys, but I'll be taking my business back to the competition.....even McD's is better than what you've come up with. I'm absolutely flabbergasted as to how you've managed to gain the following you have. Guess some people will put up with anything if it's trendy. See ya...

I have to say my review of Sonic is completely opposite from Auntie's above. I went there the other day (initially planning on going to Chipotle) and while they were relatively busy they got my order to me quickly and nothing was "cold" like Auntie says it was for her. The food tasted okay (Ive never been there before) and was a good change from the other options around the OH-14 strip. I received napkins with my order. Anyway, Ill go back again in the future and rotate them among my fast food choices that I go to.

I've had them out of state a few times and always receive well cooked food, FANTASTIC shakes and timely service.
It's still fast food, but it is much better than normal. Auntie, give them a few months to get their stuff together, I'm sure you be pleased. Naturally, it won't be four star dining, but for quick, fast and in a hurry food, I won't complain.
