"now" you want to wait until they cut your pay, to orgenize. get real, this is what they are hoping for. too late then.

part 3 of 4 management can't tell you what will happen tomorrow or in 6 months. with a union you no what will happen for the next 3 years, it's like a insurance poliey. It's time to orgenize now, and stop this shit. unfortunately it will take years, to fix the health insurance problem. you need to take a stand on the issues you care about, or you will keep falling

I am a former Rotek employee now standing out in the f***ing cold. They wanted to take away my hard earned wages, pay more for health coverage, take away payed holidays, take away vacation pay down to hours, change the way they pay us overtime, change the way we bid on jobs, took away retirement award for years of service. i now have no money, no health insurance, late on mortgage, late on car payments, utility shut off notices, no f***ing food to feed my family. You can only imagine the deep hatred built up inside me ! No matter what the outcome will be, these feelings will stay inside me until the day I die. I WILL STAND AND FIGHT THESE GREEDY MF'ers AND NOT GIVE IN TO ANY OF THEIR BS. EVEN IF I LOSE EVERYTHING I HAVE WORKED FOR AND I HAVE TO WALK 30 MILES TO THE PICKET LINE I WILL BE THERE IN FULL FORCE ! TALL AND PROUD MEMBER OF USW LOCAL 8565. WE WILL PREVAIL !

Well that is your choice. Stand out in the cold while your family starves and the bank takes your house and car. But hey, you did a wonderful job standing there with that sign.

It's not spelled grammer...It's spelled grammar.

Okay, I'm not here to pick on spelling or grammar. I am here to let you know that I am in full support of what everyone in the union is fighting for. Unions started back in the 1820's and their first fight was to reduce the working hours from 12 to a 10 hours, and in 1866 the National Labor Union persuaded congress to cut the workday to 8 hours. This was a big fight, and they won. They also are recognized every year on the first Monday in September, which is labor day. I know your good buddy DR. T takes that day off with pay, and I'm sure he has no reason why.

My point is: Every Union has fought for every American, and made it possible for all of us to earn a decent living, and to be able to spend times with our families and friends. By banding together they have improved our working conditions.

Please everyone support Local 8565, and stand together to keep what our unions have fought for. This took a lot of years to get ahead, and if you give it back know you will never get it back.

Our great, great, grandparents fought hard to create a future for our families. Don't let one man take it all away.

I want everyone to read Disgruntled's Post. He is looking into the future, and is fighting for the next generation. That is what this is all about. Unfortunately, you are the ones who have to fight this battle. But, everyone needs to band together.

Good Luck...and may God's Speed be with you!!!

Imtimidation? Are you kidding me, you dumb sh!t? Do you realize how lucky you are? To be compensated at the level you currently are for your obvious dismal level of education? Please wake up! You don't deserve to work at a place as nice as Rotek. If it were my company, someone would have already been made an example of last week. So stop your posturing and puffing your chest out, because you hold no power here. You are totally and 100% replaceable. We all are. Now stop biting the hand that provides for you and your families well being, and get back to work dummy.
