Second of all, don't ever call me a cetnik !
I am BOSNIAN !
And where did i say that Albanians wanted Yugoslavia, i was only referring to the unity witch you wanted, Unity among Albanians and your lands. Like it was before the big powers split it up after the collapse of the ottoman empire.
And it's your right to have those lands back, now please stop calling me name's, i am not your enemy.

listen i myself have been to zadar, split, kornati, novalja zrce, pag(what a nut house that place is.
what has happened there in the last 15 yr's is unbelievable!!
for the 3 week's i go there i have everything i need plodine stop and shop's,ina gas satation's all over the place, big ass department store's
in zadar there is a brand new strip 2 lane's on both dirrection's with numerous car dealership's
opel,volkswagon,and a couple of other's
multiplex cinnama's,a brand new sport's komlex
for basketball,handball,water-polo ,and swimming
numerous cafe's in the city center, brand new state of the art highway's,restaurant's,satalit e t.v
construction in zadar the past 15 yr's is booming
condimminium's town houses.....ect,ect
for what it's worth a lot of people dont like stipe mesic, i personaly laugh at him when he talk's,he remind's of george w bush
like there a joke, but mesic, and sanadar for what it's worth did build infrastructure over the last
couple of yr's,and that's where it start's
anyway my point is croatia is now very pure croatian(they are there own people) and it's easy to make political descision's this way
i was never in bosnia i hercigovina, but if 3 side's dont like each other, how are you too build infrastructure, economy, and politic's all included in one??? through the euro-union??
i dont have the answer's,but bosnia cant function like this
with republica srpska leaning toward's serbia, and hercigovina leaning toward's croatia, and the bosniak's in the middle, building mosques all over sarejevo, instead of infrastructure, but is there a lot of foreighn investment comming in from e.u,america, and russia???
because maybee they should get more involved over there??
bok
Koolman, I hear what you're saying but you've got to live in BiH to understand the situation. Yes it's true that Croatia has a solid infrastructure but that isn't to say that there is none in BiH. I live in a Croatian region and our infrastructure is pretty good. The roads are regularly repaired, buildings are maintained and Croatian is the official language at the schools as is the cirriculum (they use the Croatian model). In particular, business is booming in our region and ultimately it is business that dictates the infrastructure.

RS has poor infrastructure. You only need to look at the condition of the area at the borders to see that. The roads are in a shocking condition and there is no order to the way the main roads lead to border control so you have a lot of local traffic interferring with border traffic - a lot of which are transit vehicles. All this means is that the serbs can lean towards Belgrade all they want, they still are not going to get any money from there when there is no money to give. There are only a handful of successful businesses in RS but definitely not enough to contribute to the infrastructure of RS and that is why RS will not be able to maintain itself for too long.

Also you can't write off Central Bosnia as there are a lot of Croatian strongholds there. If Hercegovina was to separate (which is unlikely to be honest) then all these pockets with majority Croats would want to follow suit. There is no way this would work out.

The 3 nationalities don't have to sit and get lovey-dovey with each other but business is business and we have to work through that. Business has to succeed if any country is going to be prosperous.

It's fine to have political views and keep to your own traditions and values. Croats in the whole region do this everyday. But at the end of the day this won't keep a roof over your head and put food on the table. I lived in diaspora for nearly 30 years and know what you're thinking but once you actually live here, and don't think it is much different in Croatia, you need to change your thinking a little and adapt. You can do this and still be who you want to be.
