Highway Patrol investigates Aurora Police Officer

Aurora resident Warren Ormsby rents a home to a 35-year-old woman who he describes as mentally handicapped, with the comprehension of a 7 to 10 year old. via KYTV Springfield

Well once again The Aurora Mo. police dept. has made a fool of the town.I hope this time people of the community will realize this department of "to serve and protect" is not to be trusted.

As a handicapped person myself I think they should throw the book at him. Officers tend to think we cant think at all if we have any kind of a handicap. We know know than they realize.

This is not only a cop doing this to a handicapped woman.this has been going on with the aurora police for years.they have a record of abusing the mental and any other woman as far as that goes.ive heard stories of them doing it for years....at one time it was caught on phone tap the juvenile officer had made obsence phone calls.yet it came out how great a job he was doing and the town hated to see him go...what a joke. and i promise what they will do is.make he charges of the care taker so big it will take the focus off the officer and nothing will happen...the aurora police dept is nothing but snakes,they are not to be trusted.the "protect and serve" onlky applies to them.....

Both of you are misguided and misinformed. First of all, after working there for three years (leaving on good terms), I never once heard of any allegations such as this come through the door. Thats not saying that the officer is not guilty, but it is the first time this has happened. I know the officer and I would be shocked if he did anything of the sort. Second, a Juvenile Officer is a state employee. There are no Juvenile Officers that work for the Aurora Police Department. Further, there are no SRO's in Aurora (School Resource Officer). Therefore, Mike is just another misinformed, bleeding heart moron that has no facts but all the opinions. Get an education sir.

Again, there is no juvenile officer that works for the Aurora Police department. Is this so confusing? Juvenile Officers in the state of missouri work for the Department of Social Services. Not for the City. So your ascertion that the Juvenile Officer was a member of the APD is wrong. I'm sorry, its just wrong. If your family member was having inappropriate advances by a Juvenile Officer, your complaint would be with the State of Missouri. Not that confusing to me. And yes, I would challenge you further, because no Juvenile Officer in Lawrence County has ever been charged with a sexual crime. Therfore, your family member obviously had a false complaint. Further, there has not been an Aurora Police Officer charged with any sex crimes either. So I guess I would challenge you, an easy challenge I would say. I hope I've forgotten everything I can about Aurora. Most of the people there are great, but the *#&$-bags are overpowering. As you will notice in my comment I said "most" of the nasty stuff is north of the tracks. And if you dont buy that, go get a copy of the statistics of crime in the city and look for yourself where the crime is. A lot of people dont like the police. I personally dont care. The fact remains that when the Aurora Police turns there lights on behind you, you will still pull over. Thats the bottom line. So have fun on Cofield, Tyndall, Delta, Myrtle and all of those nice clean crime free streets. lol. And by all means, Listen to an ormsby, they have all the answers. lol

Hey Former, I understand it is hard to keep ur mouth shut. But let me say The Aurora Skating Rink has been around alot longer than you have and I doubt seriously if you will out live it.But really former, I know and understand your a bitter boy since you probably got let loose from the apd, but why start slandering the skating rink. Even tho your life is'nt filled with joy the rink has supplied joy for generations. Go there and set awhile and look, you may see kids whose great granparents use to skate there. Enjoy ur life,it may be hard with all the hate you have in side, but at least try.
