Thank goodness they finally got him. I just wonder how come it took so long to get him. I also wonder how many others he has hurt/killed in the last 27 years.

Wow...already tried and convicted in the court of public opinion. Unless Galloway left a puddle of his own spooge next to the body, any of his DNA could be easily explained away by the defense, since they were friends and he had been to their residence several times in the past.

Maybe the husband did it and is pinning it on this Galloway lad.

Why, if they got the DNA evidence in 01/2007, did it take them ~18 mos. to get the warrant? What kind of DNA evidence was it? Agree with John below, court of public opinion easily wears three hats as JJ&E.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Her husband has mentioned that he was a very jealous man and perhaps became enraged with Cheryl for thinking she fooling around behind his back. Of course, Larry's DNA would be accessible if he was a mutual friend of Cheryl and her husband.

Also, Cheryl's husband had stopped by at 2:00 for lunch that day. Why would he have lunch so late during the day when his wife was home all day?

This case doesn't add up...

Hmmm, after 27 years if the DNA is not properly stored and maintained, the DNA will degrade and it would be near impossible to get true DNA match. Since this crime occured in 1981, I highly doubt that proper storage and preservation of DNA was known, much less actually properly done. This man appears to have led the life of a model citizen with this being the blip on the radar screen. ANyone who spent time wit hthe couple at their home would have DNA aat their home. The husband is an admitted jealous man, the DNA takes 18 MONTHS to process... This is not passing the smell test here at all.

And I come from a family of cops and prosecutors.

Exactly John...

No one asks themselves why it took from November, after gathering their dna, to arrest him now. Sounds like a real strong case. For what its worth ill throw in my thoughts in to the court of public opinion and say he will walk. Why? Because I rode the train daily with the guy and he was sincerley nice, funny and polite to everyone i saw.

You do wonder why after bringing back the memory of a terrible event 27 years ago in ones life his first reaction would be just wanting to jump up and down. Yeah that seems normal.

My guess is that the husband wanted to jump up and down because the guilt and fear that he has been feeling since he killed his wife in a jealous rage has finally been lifted.

they got him, it only takes ONE cell of dna to match.

he'll do many years for this.
he can run but he couldn't hide.

If i was the judge jury and executioner,he wouldn't be at home, that much i can promise you.

i'll bet mine against yours that he goes for life.

i'm sure the cops put the husband through the ringer, he came out innocent.

finally the family can get some closure, and see justice done.
She wasn't a THING, she was a person.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Cancer

You could struggle to display your feelings and emotions at the moment. Being so sensitive, the smallest things could hurt your feelings, but no one else is likely to realise since you retreat into your shell at these times. This will not be a conscious decision, and you'll feel frustrated at your inability to explain the hurt you suffer.
