I need to make a statement. I know for a fact that your office is prejudice. I have a friend who needed help with buying groceries for his children and medical assistance he is a single parent. he was turned down. he has a black girlfriend and she went with him, all of a sudden he got the help he needed. why is this. so white people don't count in this society.
I have a girlfriend who is disabled, this was beyond her control, she has applied for medical assistance because she can not afford medical insurance and needs to see a doctor very badly. your office turned her down, and the only reason I can see is because she is white. what is this country coming to. I feel this administration needs to get a grip and help those in need, NOT BY COLOR OR RACE.

This office is a joke!! I have moved and have been trying to contact them to get my APRIL Medicaid card. Now, I STILL don't have the one for May! They NEVER return your calls, their switchboard/operator is NEVER there to answer my calls and their Voice Mail Box is always "full". How does one change their address? Phone calls DO NOT WORK!!
I guess I will just have to do it the old fashioned way, my U.S. Postal Service. BUT, will I have to send it registered to be sure they get it??????????
Aurora Office is a JOKE!!

Being on Public Aid is the only option for us disabled, seniors AND low income Americans. Disabled people are disabled but not by choice. Many of us worked hard all our working lives, before something happened by no fault of ours, and BOOM , your whole way of living changes.
I have learned to be grateful for what God has blessed me with and for seeing that all my needs are met. Part of this is having to "bow down my head in shame" because I need to eat!
Sometimes life changes, and you have to learn to depend on the government programs to allow you at least a chance at a life: Being a parent, grand parent, wife, sister, daughter, friend, etc.. Without those programs, some very smart but medically challenged Americans will be homeless, starving, and dying in the streets.
The Lord says that the More fortunate should give to the less fortunate.. God is Good!
If I could work I would, then I could CHOOSE the insurance and Doctors that I can see, instead of the Doctors that don't remember you or even want to take you anymore because of Public Aid.
EVERYONE is hurting and these programs are there to help us. Even for a little bit.

Sorry, but the office is far too busy giving out Link cards, WIC, welfare checks and Section 8 vouchers to the illegal mexicans to help any American citizens. You need to realize this is the new reality. Politicians only care about minorities, especially the illegals. Do not bother calling back. Thank you and have a nice day.

with food assistance cards, adult and child medicaid, please remember there are often times a whole lot of applicants. its very easy to get caught up in the next day interviews. of course your situation is important to you personally, but try to understand the person on the job has every single applicant saying the exact same thing.

call the office more frequently so your name does not get lost in the crowd. try to be as polite as you can, you know that goes a lot farther in life than getting all worked up. dont let your need control your manners. cmon now be fair, if you had a job and someone was all up in your face you know that would be a turn off to relax and help them as best and quick as possible.
