Great ambience, great music but BEWARE of what you order. The liquor charges are those of a high-end restaurant and then they charge 'extra' for ordering something "on-the rocks" claiming it has a bigger portion. Menu does NOT state this, anywhere! Manager was extremely RUDE!! BEWARE of the charges and how they can add-up on your TAB!!

Well, I think that most people can agree that a drink that is "on-the-rocks" does, in fact, have more liquor in it, as oppossed to a drink that may be mixed with something else. Any intelligent person would understand why it would cost more for that very reason.

Besides, the up-charge is a mere dollar. I hope that didn't break your bank account "Anonymous from Elk Grove." And more importantly, when you fail to speak politely and misjudge a situation without understanding it first, it is likely that someone else will reciprocate in the same manner.

Shlok and their entire staff conduct business with integrity, respect, and consideration for their customers.

rude service, ripoff prices, then they get their waitstaff to come on here and "plant" good comments.

When we arrived at this place the overall appearance was great...We actually thought we would have a great time...The first thing that made this spot a "NO" was the cover charge...this is a lounge not a club....u sell food here..thats almost like paying to get into a restaurant...Then we was expecting to see more of an elite crowd....but we was sadly mistaken when we entered...This a spot for the kids...I felt like I was in Flordia on spring break...very trashy lookin women and the worst dj ever..I think his name was DJ Rex it should've been DJ WACK! somebody please give this guy a pink slip...the outfitted goth staff rather send text messages then make u a drink. I guess thats why they were so terrible...We even tried to get a few bottles, but they didnt have a bottle menu....If u wanna party like its literally 1999 then this is the place to get your trashy on.....If your looking for more of that ADULT atomsphere I suggest u try another spot.....

I rather stayed home and rented a movie then go to the SHLOK LOUNGE its was not my scene at all nice interior but not a great atmosphere.

Drinks on the rocks doesnt have more liquor in it.....it just seems like that with all the damn ice.....This place definitely needs new management and the word in Atlanta is already spread about the opening of Shlok Lounge there and its definitely a huge NO!!!! If u cant make it in the burbs find another business venture..........

WOW..can we say haterz....the place is nice, they're open till 2... the bathroom line is never long..u all r trippin....why is it that all the people hatin on SHLOK are men...hmmm...funny 2 me. Girls if ur ready to have fun, let loose, and dance...SHLOK is the best place in the suburbs on Sat. nights. The music is bangin and me n my girlz love it...if you don't like it ...go 2 the CITY...then you'll really complain about the "drinks on the rocks"...And what is meant by "ghetto"??? Far from it...

Can u say "Classy".....obvious ly you never been around that type of atomsphere...because if u did you definitely wouldnt be making these outlandish remarks....The crowd and the staff is what makes the Shlok Lounge a BIG NO!! I wish this club was in the city...It would definitely have a better crowd....I thought the interior was excellent....but I felt I was surround by a bunch a tobacco chewing hillbillies....Maybe u surburb people need to come to the city more and get a lesson on being "classy".....Im quite sure you was one of the many ladies we seen that nite with the discounted attire and knock-off purses....Whenever u ready to party with the adults check out the RED CANARY in Chicago or whenever your in ATL check out Club Pure or The Velet Room.....

These ATL GUYS are hilarious.....but I do agree with them some...the better crowd is before 10...thats when theres a more elite crowd there after 10 the freaks come out at nite LOL!!!! Its turns into a whole different place. They do need to hire a more sophisticated staff it really would go much better with the design of the club, but next time you ATL GUYS visit come early I would love to meet you guys and I promise I dont carry a knock purse LMAO!!!

I had a great time at Shlok & will definately go back. I was there on a Thursday & feel like I ripped them off. No cover to see DJ Funk along with 4 or 5 other DJ's, I had 3 martinis, 4 bottles of Bud light lime & a bomb. I had a tab & my total was ONLY $25 (plus tip). I was pretty buzzed when I left. I thought the staff was very nice & efficient. The security was a little uptight about the way people were juking, but it was still awesome. I can't beleive that this is the same club as all the others are writing about. No-it is not a fancy overpriced, dress to impress big city club. It is however, a small modern-trendy looking club in the burbs that I'm sure will only get better with age. If your looking for a place to get loaded and here some dance music without the hassel of paying for parking & traveling to the city, it's not a bad choice at all.

The place is beautiful and the music is amazing. I love Fridays and Saturdays especially. The staff is so nice and the drinks are good for the money you pay! No complaints LOVE LOVE LOVE THE PLACE.

The line for the bathroom was pretty busy, but the place is really nice. I went in a couple weeks ago and the place wasn't what I expected but my friend insisted we go back to see one of her friends and the place totally changed! The DJ played amazing and the vibe was great, the crowd was not bad at all and everyone was havgin a great time.

This place is awesome. No sure what you think sucks about it JOSH. Finally a place in the burbs that you don't have to go downtown for. Actually it's better than many of the popular spots in the city. A great crowd, music and people. And the drinks are cheap. Not much to suck about that. Sound like your bitter.
