SEE: Deviance in Society 101- people who need attention and are very outrageous when they are anonymous and are very pleased with themselves while everyone else thinks they are morons.

Why would they have a 35 year old man helping young girls in gymnastics? Gymnastic coaching involves touching. Seems like it's a situation that begs for trouble.

Sometimes the news jumps the gun too quickly and condemns the innocent based on allegation without any proof. We are at this school several days a week and we have never seen Coach James do anything inappropriate. He is professional and caring with all of his students. He takes the kids safety very seriously and we have the utmost faith in Coach James and the rest of the school's staff.
Gymnastics is a dangerous sport that requires kids to learn to tumble and flip. The coaches have a responsibility to "spot" the kids and keep them safe while they learn these difficult skills.
I see nothing wrong with a man coaching gymnastics at any level. Watch the Olympics and you will see that most of the coaches are men!

By looking at his picture, he doesn't look like the type of man to do sick stuff like that.

Teenage girls now days are trouble and make up horrible lies.

I am a teenager myself and see how teen girls lie when they don't get their way, just to punish somebody innocent.

He should have not been arrested without any proof.

Gymnastics does involve physical contact and sometimes they have to be held by their waist/hips.

I feel bad for this man.

If that girl is lying, I hope she lives through hell!

I have known Coach James since I was about 7 or 8. I was in the beginers class at Parker School of Gymnastics and I remember him being a funny guy. I remember him taking our hair ties, well we would give him them then he wold do his hair with thema dn it was funny. Last year when I had him as a coach for my tumbling class at Saddle Rock with Tyler and Bill also coaching he seemed like he just wanted to have fun, and would never have done anything like this. I don't know what to believe.

Once again, Kim Posey has demonstrated her lack of professionalism at her job. She states only that an adult male has been arrested for inappropriately touching a young female. WOW! What conclusion is everyone going to come up with? Kim, you are a sorry excuse for a writer! Why don't you include other details? Like how he allegedly touched her. She was in gymnastics. Did she screw up on a back flip or some other maneuver and was about to land in a position that would have caused a back or neck injury? Did this coach reach out and do what he could to prevent that? Because of the speed or erratic manner in which she was jerking around trying to regain her equilibrium, did his hands accidentally land somewhere they would not otherwise have? Did he prevent the girl involved from being paralyzed? Did you even think of any of these questions before you tried and convicted him with your words, you ignoramus?

I have complained about your reporting before. I see my complaints fell on deaf and dumb ears! I have no dog in this fight Kim. I just believe in being fair. Why don't you try finding out the whole story and report as much, not just what suits your twisted sense of journalistic license?

KDVR finally has an employee to be ashamed of!

I don't think this story should have aired, until both stories have been confirmed. I have lots of questions regarding this, because I have been in the gymnastics world for over 20 years & my daughter is also a gymnast.
Is he being accused of this because of a spotting move, or what? Or did he touch this girl off to the side, when he was talking with her? This story is seriously lacking the relevant points for anyone to determine what really happened. Anyone in this world knows, that "fondling" will occur. I would much rather have a coach touch my butt / chest, if it is going to avoid my from breaking my neck, back, ect.
& I also know that a lot of parents, do not fully understand this sport & I can totally see a young child, going to a parent & saying..........Mr /Mrs. touched my butt today & leave it at that. Before we ruin this man's life, lets get the full details of what really happened.

I am finding this really hard to believe. I have three kids who have went to this gym and all have worked with Coach James. He has done private lesson with them. We discussed this situation and they have nothing bad to say about him, he is actually one of their favorite coaches.

Whatever happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty??!!
I don't know why society so quickly jumps to the conclusion that these allegations are factual.
If this man is innocent, he will never be able to live a normal life again. It's very sad how our society assumes guilt so quickly!!

I have twp young kiddos in class at Saddlerock. Both of them have been coached by coach James, and both love him. He has always been inspiring and fun for them to work with. I have never seen nor suspected anything inappropriate. My question is this...where was the parent? out shopping? out looking for a new coach bag? DON'T LEAVE YOUR KIDS! THEY ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. And I would have to agree with some of the comments made before. Teenagers are very tempermental! Don't ruin a man's life because you are pissed!! If that is the case, may she live with a heavy heart for the rest of her life. I am shocked & hurt that my kids may never work with coach James again. Thankful if it is true and at the same time bummed. Like others have said...Let's get the facts and hear both sides before we pass judgement!

My daughter takes lessons at Saddlerock and James is in fact her coach. I am beyond saddened to hear this news. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about "Coach James." He is amazing with the kids. The ONLY thing that really, really concerns me are the other allegations....ie. indecent exposure charge on Aug 21, 2009 and the sexual assualt charge back in 2001! Why didnt the 2001 arrest show up on the background check? Was there truly a background check? I wish we had more information. I am trying to not pass judgment but the other allegations concern me. Also....to the person who posted "where was the mother?" It is NOT the mother's fault. We need to feel safe about where our children are being taught. She is not at fault. Also, won't you feel terrible calling the girl a "liar" if in fact she is telling the truth? What if it was your child?

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Capricorn

You're feeling edgy as Mars moves into reverse, and it won't be long before people start to get on your nerves. You might get very irritated by someone's funny little habits, yet feel you daren't say anything in case you go overboard. Or you could get very annoyed when someone blurts out something that was supposed to be a secret but which quickly becomes common knowledge.
