1 He wasn't in trouble for possessing the grenades, they were just used as a reason to search the house where guns were found. Which he is ineligible to possess, because he is a convicted felon. |

Funny. He told the judge, "I've never been in trouble before in my life", yet he was a convicted felon.
As for the grenades and mortar shells, any large surplus store is going to sell them for a few bucks. Only reason it was looked into, is because Obama was coming to town. Still, he shouldn't have had the guns in his house. So, he gets what he deserves. |

I'm at a complete loss as to how the President Obama visit fit into all of this?

What a waste time and government money over deactivate grenades and mortar rounds.

1 It shouldn't. But, when the grenades and mortar shells were found, it was just before Obama's visit. When the Secret Service asked if they had found any explosives and what not, the police told them about their find. The Secret Service looked into it, and found no threat against Obama, so they left it in the hands of the local police. I think the PP mentioned Obama to get more of a reaction out of some people. |
