Augusta's fire chief says his firefighting efforts are usually bolstered with many volunteers who are always on call - the Amish.

I agree it's inspiring, that's why I want more details.

In the eight years I've lived in Big Lake, there has been one house fire, one barn fire, and one tornado in my immediate area. Each time, all the neighbors showed up to make sure everyone was safe.

If you were my neighbor, I'd definitely be at your doorstep making sure you were safe. I am confident that my neighbors would do the same for me as well.
