11 managers in 12 yrs! Can you guess what the problem is? Mr. Money Bags himself! He always sings the same song, "They(employees) are stealing me blind." No, truth is, he steals from the employees! Always cuts their pay to below minimum wage, fusses over bands, controlls the hours and hides and watches his cameras(then tries to say he doesnt know whats going on!) He has tried to slander everyone that has worked for him. Well, everyone in Augusta(since half the town has worked for him!) knows the truth about who and what HE is. Good luck finding someone willing to open it back up knowing they only have a year(his record) to run it and be willing to be drug thru mud when he is ready to pull the plug. Close it, NO one cares. We are all going to Beehive and Bravo's! Psht!!!!

Had a few out of town construction workers explain a whole lot being given away for free at the Pub. The guys explained that most working in the area have seen a whole lot of booze and funds going hand to fist in exchange for drugs and sex amongs the locals congregating in the place. People don't quite get it yet, that the outside looking in this town make fun of how illiterate, back woods some town folks act out in public. Some very funny crap and not so funny crap is being mocked about of the fine example of local patrons meeting in the Pub. Infested with those hooker Bedbugs is one problem and that came from exactly where??? The business was doomed to fail by the actions associated with "All" the free stuff being given at the Pub, lol.

FYI please check your sources. The Pub has not been open for 12 years. It opened May 2004. So it has only been open for 8 year. Thank you...that is all.

Then with your fact stated, this makes it an even worse record!! Open 8 years = 12 managers!!! LOL!!!! Thank you for correcting me and helping everyone on here understand how the Owner and his family has ran this business to the ground. Also, with the bed bug infestation upstairs in the apartments, HE should close it all down! Psht!!

if it closes will only be due to slow winter months and no tourist, just as most of the shops in the town do every winter. All the false gossip and fake drama is not to be of concern, it is topix only not reality.

Someone posted that half the town has worked at the Pub over the years. So by your calculation it can be determined that half the town folks has been in prison, half the town folks has been in rehab or half the town has worked at the general store at some point in time. Doesn't say much for the town folks now does it by your calculated knowledge. Isn't there estimated 2,100 persons inside the city limits? that would calculated estimate that 1,050 town folks have been either in prison, rehab or working in the general store at some point. Now on average, the general store only hires family or close friends, on average maybe 8 people on payroll at any given work week, so estimated calculation would be that while 8 town folk work at the general store at one time or another over the years, The estimated 1,050 residence minus the 8 folks working at the general store would estimate that 1,042 town folks have either been in prison or rehab. Now we get technical due to population by census, we would have to consider how many of the 2,100 residence are under the age of 18. Those calculated as town folks under the age of 18,would be considered the future rehab and jail birds that may get a job at the General Store if the Pub closes in the future. Agian by your calculation in the future, the estimated 400 students in Augusta, 1/2 the students may get a chance to work at the Pub (if it stays open). 8 may get a job at the General Store while 192 students have the opportunity to go to jail or rehab in the future. By your calculations the history of this town repeats itself and the future for most students in this town will be jail or rehab....is this Progress to the Future of Augusta???? The town folks might want to re-evaluate doing more for the children in this community because at the calculated rate presently the future doesn't look so good since half the town has worked at the Pub, been in jail or rehab and the only job is the General Store if the Pub closes according to the comments from this thread.
