Obama's grandfather is buried in Punchbowl, and spouses of those buried in Punchbowl are also allowed to be buried there.

Where was Barack? It seems like a split in the family.

The half-sister did attend the one in a lifetime election night event of her half-brother winning the presidential election.

The great-granddaughters did not visit their dying great-grandmother!

Are you serious? Her husband is there. He's a Veteran. Rest in peace Tutu. You are so loved. Watch over Barry & Maya and their families.

Looks like a nice service.

We do not know what condition she was in at the time Obama flew over, she might have been in a coma and probably was, so no real need for the children to be there, they could just remember her when she was not ill.

How wonderful for former colleagues and friends to pay their respects and remember Tutu Dunham. Her life speaks volumes of the possibilities one can achieve both personally and in a career if you want it, and this is reflected in her loved grandchildren. She had a right to be buried at Punchbowl given her late husband had served in the armed forces.

Barack and Maya knew their roles in meeting family obligations and covering his place in the campaign for president. Am sure they were in touch during Tutu's illness. Remember he flew back to spend time with her and it was a private time for them. The girls will remember their great Tutu from fun memories in early days.
Rest in peace Tutu, you have earned it for a job well done.
God Bless

All Honors, Tributes and Praise go out to the grandma of the next President of these United States.

Though I did not vote for Barack, he has won the title fair and square.

Exigent circumstances require that he should now rise above it all to lead our Nation.

He don't got no choice now, it is required.

THAT honors the memory of his grandma.

Yes the Grandfather was a Vet and rightly was buried at Punchbowl as was the Grandmothers right to be laid to rest next to him. But on the other hand if the State or C&C paid for any off duty cops overtime that was wrong as it was. U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka attending was wrong as well as he should be in D.C fighting to keep the tax payers moneies just that, Tax payers but oh course he has to kiss A*S to keep his bread and butter paycheck coming in.

sorry to go off on a rant but Mrs. Dunham personell life should has stayed just as she was private and not made into a spectical.
