kev, calm down there guy...take a deep breath and count to 10... doing what you suggest is the same thing if not worse than what these people (which you refer to as "lowlifes") are in prison for in the first place... the real tragedy here is that your govt is willing to pump $110M into building a new prison, while closing schools in every district in the state...SAD!!

I agree with you eggman, why are we even considering this. There are alot of school who will benefit from recieving some of this $110M and instead were putting it into people who dont deserve it. Maybe if the jails were so comfortable and they made it harder for the inmated maybe just maybe there would be less crime, maybe people would be more scared of going to prison, Im all for setting up tents in the desert and letting them really suffer for the crimes they committ. If the Chino Prison is over crowded Im sure theres plenty of open space in the desert somewhere, why do these lawbreaking people have to do there time in comfort.

These lowlifes convicts destroy their own facility and they are rewarded with upgrading the prison. Of course if the convicts were made to continue to live in their destroyed quarters you can bet your life the left wingers, ACLU types would come get madder than wet hens.

By the way, I agree with kev

The prisoners have better dental and healthcare than a lot of law abiding citizens-not to mention cable t.v. and 3 meals a day. If we ran the prisons like Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona, we wouldn't need more money for prisons!
Or, we could go Kev's route. Either way is okay with me! |

I say just put them in tents like they do in AZ, fcuk these prisoners, Ca is broke plain and simple we need to cut to those most undeserving starting with our prison system.

yes, i completely agree with pumping each and every one of these lowlife loser criminals with a .357 Magnum and dumping their carcasses in the ocean. there's only one problem. the US Constitution prevents us from doing so. it needs to be amended, otherwise, nothing's ever going to change.
I am a "Left Wing,ACLU type" (in other words, too educated for my own good) and I completely dissagree with the way California handles crime. The new project is not an upgrade but rather just an addition of more beds from the former CYA facility. Most left wingers would agree with me when I say that we need to reform the entire prison system in California. Not to make it more resort-like but rather to make it less counter-productive.. Republicans and their "lock em up throw away the key, pay officers more than teachers" attitude is the problem. The Left is the solution. Come aboard. |
I forgot to mention that your favorite "Right Wing" Governator Arnold is part of the problem!
so they have money to build prisons but no money to educate children so they can stay out of prison, what a wonderful world
Mr. Yates .... them boys should be put to hard labor work growing their own vegetables, and that would keep them busy instead of destroying taxes payer properties.
...and when are we going to apply north korean prison system in state of california. |
