Is this Connie Grimes from Olympia? She should be 43.

Are there 2?

If the organs were gone, how could another doc tell her they were healthy?

You are one nasty being, that's not the only reason God gave women ovaries, see how you'd act if your organ was removed, although from the sound of you it would be a blessing & I'm sure your wife, if you have one would agree.

Try reading the story & you'll see there were test indicating there was no reason for the ovaries to be removed, & maybe you can dig up a little compassion for a human being that has been used at the hands of a butcher. It's crazy you people jump on with comments & don't have enough brains to read the facts first, shame on you. Pray it never happens to you.

Do you have a clue about female anatomy? Ovaries produce hormones. W/out them women have to go on hormone replacement therapy. If a doctor removed my perfectly healthy ovaries and I had to go thru all the side effects (physical and emotional) of HRT, you're damn straight I'd be pissed, and it wouldn't matter how many kids I had, that has nothing to do w/ the issue.

That's what alot of these people do best, speculate and spread gossip. And when you confront them w/ the facts they get tongue-tied and don't know what to say. Thankfully, there are alot of good people in Ky also.

To What: Believe me I know more good people in KY than bad, both of my parents were from KY, I've spent much of my life in KY, & love the state. The rotten people can be from anywhere, but they sure need to know how nasty they are when they crawl out of their hole & speak on issues like this. I only pray the nasty ones on this forum don't have children that have to grow up hearing their disgusting mouths. I guess they have never heard of "what goes around, comes around". Hopefully no females in their family are ever talked about this way.

Unfortunately, that's the sad part. Most of them DO have children. Ignorance breeds Ignorance and the cycle continues.

I hope she receives the full settlement and more. As a woman of childbearing age, I could only imagine how that would make me feel. I do believe that is a feeling no man, or any woman who does not want kids would ever know. It would be devastating, something that would take quite a while to get over, if that is even possible. And before anybody makes rude comments, it does not matter if a woman already has kids, if she has that "longing" to conceive and birth children, it can be stronger even if she has never had a child.

It stated in the story in the paper that they wanted to have more children and would possibly use a surrogate.

Losing ovaries can cause multiple health issues for a woman. It's a fact that bearing children is not the only use of the ovaries, you can't seem to read beyond bearing children, which really isn't anyone's business except hers if she can afford them & takes care of them. Bet you wouldn't want anyone stepping in & making that decision for you or your family.

So the real reasons come out for your ugly statement.
Jealous of the wonderful family
Jealous of the family Full of kids
Jealous someone may get the $900,000 you want.
You should have just said all that in the first place.

They didn't say anything about decision making.

Some people want to sue for everything and anything.

I think that she has a right.

BUT she is sure lucky that she got to have children.

Some aren't so lucky.

The shape this world is in, I wouldn't bring one in it for anything.

Also, there can be OVERPOPULATION. There sure are a LOT of kids in that family tree.

I feel bad for her and the others and the doc should pay if he did wrong.

I do think there is such a thing as too many children, and there are so many needing good homes.

I didn't see what the big deal was previously about the UK on the surgical site.
