The westend once where lawyers and doctors made their homes. Tree line parkways and avenues, beautiful landscaped golf courses, stores and businesses once thriving.

No more. Most businesses have bars on their windows and doors, areas where lawns were once manicured look likes the city dumps, no secured street anywhere (even the working middle class blacks fear for their safety), etc. The black families that do maintain or try to keep nice lawns and upkeep on beautiful homes, have homes next to them with windows out, doors boarded, litter and garbage strewn everywhere, grafitti, etc.

We are talking about a area that once was beautiful and thriving to neglected and unsafe.

Get the picture.

There is areas in Louisville where lower class whites and other races live but they have always been unkempt types of areas. We are talking about CHANGE.

As a matter of fact, the same type of change Obama is wanting, just like the change in Chicago for the slums, projects and low income housing areas. He and mobster friend took the money and ran like cowards. Go there and ask the black people who still live in rat-infested, roach-infested, boarded up windows and doors, projects.

So, if the ones want to talk about Bullitt county, talk about the westend too. If you are unable to because then you would need to admit the truth, keep on with your denial and dream world existence.

Remember, when you stand in front of your maker, no excuses, lies, denials and the race card will be accepted. You are on your own and Affirmative Action will not be able to support your cause.

I agree Vamp.Dont condemn a whole area if you haven't been there.Because people do read these from other states and form opinions.And you got some idiot like him badmouthing the very state he lives in.Hell,every state and city has problems concerning the economy.No area is immune to the problems that America suffers from now.You cant tell him anything,he thinks he knows it all.Hopefully he's gone for good,if we're lucky.

For all of you people who support Louis Coleman and those who do not here is a little information for you. One of my friends (who is black) growing up dated his son (the one in prison). She was in high school at the time and became pregnant. This grandson of Louis Coleman's is now around 14 years old. This child does not know his father or his grandfather not by his mother's choice. Louis had nothing to do with this child.

My feelings are this how can you support a whole community if you cannot even support your whole family. It is not this child's fault that he was born out of wedlock to two young parents. What kind of christian is Louis to not accept his own son's child into the family with open arms? What kind of leader can he be to not accept one of his own kind? He was for the black community right, what about his grandson who is black. Does the grandson have to be a troublesome child for him to get recognition from his grandfather?
