It is really amazing that these guys get to quit or retire. Keeping the police certificates. Moving on to another town and start all over again. The unions let this happen because they are a brotherhood.

FDLE will pull/revoke certificates when it involves false reports etc. Know what you are talking about before you spout off misinformation.

Do a little research before you like dumb. Here is the link where FDLE pulled his certificate. He will never work as a LEO in Florida.

Thanks for the link. I'm generally pro-law enforcement but I have to admit that something shocked me about the link you provided. It was a quarterly report and there were 114 disciplinary cases. I was shocked at the number and how many of them were for criminal offenses. If there are approximately the same number disciplined each quarter that's nearly 500 LEOs in Florida a year being terminated for criminal behavior!

O boy, the cop haters are out today. But that's nothing new. He was not a cop when this incident happened, and has not been one in over a year. Following his false report incident last year he was arrested and subsequently terminated. Some of you are so blind by your hate that you can't even read.

Also understand that the state and county correctional institutions come under FDLE so not all of those cases are all police officers.

No Kidding! I agree that a police officer is held to a higher standard. That comes with it. But they are all affected by the same problems that the rest of us face. Just a human weakness. He should be treated as you and I would be treated. His extra punishment is looseing a career. Being a LEO is not one of those jobs you take till something else comes up. So anyone doing it is looking long term and has invested time and money to get there. WHy would anyone want to do it with a teen? When I was 36 I dated an 18 year old for a while. They don't know what they're doing. Women are so much better!
