Misled and Broken

Tacoma, WA

#1 Jun 25, 2009
The short of it is that I retained their services, they failed to provide me detailed monthly billing,(which they are legal obligated to). They failed to represent me to my standards or to the standards they promised me. MULTIPLE times I was told that this case was open and shut and that I absolutely had nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, the lawyer failed to fight for me in court or to bring my evidence and declarations into play. They were misleading and wanted more and more money, but had not ONE positive result for me. I lost everything,(my son, my home, my money, and all personal belongings), although I provided plenty of evidence on my behalf. I feel I was swindled and would NEVER RECOMMEND this firm or my lawyer, Joseph Baker or Janel Ostrum. CONSUMERS BEWARE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! You don't want to fall victim to the "promises" like I did!!!

Mr. Firkens was strait forward with our case, was willing to do what ever we asked within reason, was excellent and comforting in negotiating our mediation, and I would refer his services to any of my friends or family.
Sorry to here your experince was not so great.

I utitlized Mr. Stocks at this firm. I would have to say it did take a ridiculously long time for my case to close and I believe he should have shared 'there are things that I know that you don't know' with me. I know he is a very good competent attorney,

I hve noticed in my lifetime - sometimes all it takes is one person's exceptionally poor decision to create a domino effect of resultant calamities. WHenever child in the middle - honorable behavior is of utmost importance.

I'm sorry - I don't have time right now for your mundane vanilla milkshake bs. Sorry you feel stuck in a marriage you do not want to be in.

Everything was going great, a little spendy without clarification, then, they won't return calls, won't follow up. I'm not sure how the tables turned but I am furious with the lack of service with this group! I feel swindled and they broke my trust. I am in a tight spot now without good representation. I either gamble my life with these jokers, or spend 20k starting over. Good people should find better attorneys.
