I heard they found guns, not sure. If it is so it makes me fear that they may have prevented a school shooting. The kids involved (allegededly) have been in a lot of trouble and it seems to be escalating.

The parents of these children need to wake up before its to late and we're housing their children in the prison system and nothing was done to the children that tore up the school buses at least i haven't heard anything but being kicked out of school

My understanding is Auburn (Dist29) is required by law to provide education for them. They have been removed from the high school and were at the alternative ed building just west of the gymnastics place on the square.

This student is a sophomore. Just moved here a month ago. He is in foster care for the things he has done in the past. He lives about 4 blocks from High School I know this kid. I guess once a thief always a thief.

Another cowardly old bag chimes in.

If you're so bent on malicious gossip, why don't you identify yourself.

Maybe we could get that poster from a long time ago (who had that secret high-tech machine to identify peoples I.P. addresses) to reveal the sordid secret identity of each and every one of us. There might be a few surprises...

I think its too bad that the kid or kids made the choice to break in anywhere...but lets not say bad things about him on here. Be adults and think back to when you were a kid and made mistakes. (REGARDLESS of their magnitude) it sure didn't help to have people give up on you or say crap about you on the internet. I realize some people will never change but more than likely you don't know their story and even if you do, you shouldn't post it on here for everyone to read. I suggest growing up and sticking with the facts instead of your opinions of certain people.

With all of the law enforcement that Auburn has, you think the vandalism, robberies, and breakins would slow down. I know dui in nemaha county is a top priority, maybe they should look into other areas that they could surely improve on. This should not be hard to catch these kids or whoever out in the early morning hours especially while they are writing there parking tickets. Lay off the bars for awhile patrol the backsides of the schools, alleys. and buisiness' They use to walk around and check doors, but we end up with too many cowards to walk around by theirself. There is a lot of room for improvement on the police force, if they cant do their job properly, find someone who can and work with the citizens of Auburn.

Back in the day. There was a place in Kearney (YDC) that all the juvenile delinquents were sent. They came back after an eye opening experience and usually did pretty good.

One of my classmates spent some time in Kearney and is now a construction foreman in Phoenix doing quite well. I knew several people that worked at YDC. It was very structured; they don't put up with crap, and instill responsibility. The workers didn't dish out the punishment the kids did, the offender wasn't punished the whole 'family' was. None of this is new, it just seems like the process of rehabilitation is taking forever or not happening at all. You didn’t get 20 chances before you were sent there.
