It is a growing trend for schools but I think it is overkill especially for a school that size. The arguement can be made that a larger school uses the field more (varsity, jv, freshman, jh, etc) as they have more teams and that causes the grass to wear down to nothing but I still think it is excessive. I think JB could use some building upgrades before they need artificial turf. It seems to me it's a case of trying to one-up the other schools.

The jv and jr high does use the same field its also johnson's practice field.....plus johnson got some donations for it....

Its all about one upping other schools! If JB is told its a bad idea, especially by another community, they'll do it just for spite! It wouldn't matter if its the worst, dumbest idea, they'll do it! Fine, you say the contributions are coming from entire. That's all well and good, but what happens every 15 years when the field needs replaced? You and I will be paying for it!

Sweet Old Barack gave up his law lisence before it could be revoked buy the Illinois BAR. The reason for the investigafion was given as a lie on his BAR application. The lie was never specified. I have never heard the reason Michelle was facing disbarment but it must have been a doosey. Where are Woodward and Bernstein when you need them. Some invesitgative reporter needs to tell us what the BAR investigaions were and needs to obtain their transcripts from college.
