5 years ago I met with Greg Moore's brother at the Athletic Barn in Lisbon Falls. As the owner I asked what was the greatest concern with Lisbon for your brother and his thoughts were very similar to mine that how could a star from a town not be recognized. Lisbon has ditched its children after graduation for generations now. The mentality of people that have never witnessed the incredible benefits communities all over this nation have had with celebrating the youth. Our community has never learned to celebrate and truly celebrate its youth because our town is as controlled by the State and its policy's of not giving too much credit to someone else or accolades because it hurts the feelings of others. We have Steven King, the Moore Boy and many others have played competitive college sports and are CEO's, Teachers, business owners, these are the success story's of our town yet they never have truly been recognized. We have had a teacher who played pro-ball and never hardly spoken of. A student died and a small street sign is the only award for his death for our freedoms. Celebrations for those after they leave school gives those younger kids something to shoot for and a reason for those that are successful to come back and help us build a better town.
The town needs run by proud people with an understanding of how to succeed. Get the job of leading our kids away from Law enforcement, liberal funded organizations, Union mentality, people that do not understand the power of celebrating and recognizing excellence especially when utilizing volunteers to build a community. The mentality is lost somewhere because when I returned here I expected much better cooperation and what i got was fear of knowledge and ignorance of the American way, confidence, belief in people instead of Unions telling you what to think and especially using who you are to benefit others.

We should learn how to celebrate, hold on to our pride in culture, share our belief in self and the future and stop being afraid of being different and trying to lead our state. My goal is always to be the best and teach the best but I have run into a constant ignorant belief that mediocrity is just fine and destructive decisions that prefer to believe and judge lie's before the truth destroying who I was and why I moved my family back here almost 9 years ago now.

Our jobs as coaches is to find away to teach kids how to take a sport as far as they can possibly take it through college to benefit their lives, their children and the communities of the future.
The view of some programs was to hire representatives that are easily controlled. Its not about winning or control its about teaching and building pride and confidence in our young athletes so that confidence transcends into school and life successes. That has definitively been missed from what I was trying to do when I was removed. Fabricated information passed through AWAP to control the courts and to back an order that was 100% falsified destroyed my constitutional rights and no one protected and served my rights, only warrants. The laws for families are based on who gets to complain first no matter if violence complaints evidence or previous concerns exist or if anything is true. Just claim what you want to get control especially if you are a women during a divorce.
No schools or people in charge of our youth should include law enforcement as a creation of inside networks. Law is not leadership it is to control society and service the community. The ignorance in our state goes on and on because of the Liberal belief that government and the state agency's are always better than free people guiding free people. When local Law enforcement DICTATES sports for youth programs we have lost freedoms that most just do not see.

The above thread is interesting with the views of the writers local town and the politics. However; saying that a protection order was "100% falsified" is 100% false. This man was arrested 10 times with 21 counts against him in less than a 6 month period of time. He destroyed his own family....not the schools, the town or the people.
