It's Ugg season

They're soft and fluffy, warm -- and hard to find. And Ugg boots and shoes are high on young women's holiday wishlists, high school students said this week.

Uggs are so hideous. I saw a girl at the mall wearing them with giant baggy pajama pants...the pants tucked in the boots.

I cannot fathom how any hman being is able to actually 'walk' in these things, but, of course wearers never actually 'walk' anywhere if they are sat on their arse all day or use a car/bus to get their ciggies from the corner shop. They make your feet look puggy and like a spaceman.

I remember my nan used to wear these things back in the 70's.

Your nan used to wear them!!! That's cute! Funny how fads come and go and come back again! I think they are wicked ugly and they don't look comfortable to me but people who have them say they are very comfortable. I don't know.

I hated them also and wanted nothing to do with them when it came time to purchase my children's Christmas gift's. Well decided to give a few gifts along with visa gift card's as they could purchase what they wanted.My husband was so not for my girl's having UGG's(wanted them to have SORREL's or something practical).Well the time came to spend the Christmas loot and my oldest daughter returned home with a pair and I was so mad, she begged me to try her's on and the next day myself and other daughter were on a mission to find our own pair!They are known to be stinky because you are urged to wear them without sox's to achieve full effect of the warmth and moisture resistant properties.My job require's me to be in the bitter cold in the early morning's and I am alway's looking for a good warm boot! It wasn't a fashion trend I was out for just a warm comfortable boot and I think I might have struck gold with this one. We traveled to several local mall's and had no luck and were put on a list for a few pairs that had been returned due to the wrong color or size but nothing panned out. Nordstrom had originaly been the first major dept. store to carry UGG'S so off we traveled to Natic and our mission was complete.The supply of these ugly stinky over priced warm and so very comfy boots isn't in danger at this high end store either. The Price dosen't change no matter where you purchace them and was told they don't go on sale! I am not upset at my girl's any more for wanting these rediculous looking boot's! Yes they are pricy but our feet are not growing anymore so I feel our investment's are practical. My youngest who's 11 want's them in the worst way will have to settle for a look alike pair from Penny's or Payless as I can't justify spending so much on still growing feet! I guess the saying DON'T KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT IS TRUE!

Love mine! They are so soft and comfortable on your feet. I was able to pick mine up at TJ Maxx last year. I also have the slippers and where them all the time.

Really?!?! That's good to know...I honestly thought that the holes in them looked like they would be uncomfortable. I'm glad to here that they are not. Maybe I will end up getting a pair one day too!!!!

Marie, I think your getting UGG's confused with Crocs,croc's are like clog's only plastic with hole's all over them(they are comfy too)! Ugg's are sheep skin boot's with lamb's wool inside.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. LOL I think you're right. For some reason I thought the ones with the holes were UGGS but there called Crocs. Gosh I'm so confused!!!! So the crocs are comfy also? I don't think I've ever seen UGGS then. They sound like they would be squishy and soft and warm though!!!!! Thanks for the correction!!

I love my my Uggs!!! I got them for Christmas and I'm only 7 years old. Well my mom has a lot of ugg boots. I think she has seven or eight pairs of ugg boots.I like to wear them with socks.

UGGs will always look cool ! I love mine. They are beautiful for your feet and they are clean, as feet stay clean/cool in them, unlike synthetic cheapos. UGG boots are here to stay, as SPORTO & LLBean boots are.

I made fun of my mother for buying those crocs ! They are UGLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!! But I tried them on and they are sooooooo comfortable ! My 6 year old daughter has 3 pairs they are great to go to the beach in !!! Ugly yes but very comfortable

They really are comfortable and easy to put on. I have arthritis pretty bad and it took my daughter forever to convince me to try them out. I need something cushiony without having to bend over to put them on. Now we just need more manly colors, ha ha ha

I think Uggs were cool and fashionable...about 4 years ago.

Now they are done. The trend was over about 2 years ago, yet people continue to buy them. Not really sure why when there are new fashion forward trends!

OMG I LOVE UGGS i have them only in the cutee colors . I like to wear them with a denim minkiskirt and UGGS . My BFF anna and I have like the same ones. I just bought some slippers. I love ugggggs !!
