C'mon Topeka, why were the prophets killed?
It is written: Rom 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
And again: Luk 11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation. Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
So all the prophets of God were killed because they went around saying:'God loves everybody, God hates the sin, but loves the sinner. God thinks sodomy is not good and God would like all you people practicing such, or winking at it, to stop. But if you can't, God understands and God forgives you. God is actually on your side and everything is gonna be alright. And Jesus loves you too.
Topekans, would you kill the prophets if they said such things? I don't think so. Thats what everyone is saying now. The prophets were not killed because they said such things. They were killed because the prophets used the sword of the Lord on them, the word of God. That is Topekas burden. You have a sword wielding Prophet of God in your midst. And like the killers of the prophets, you desire the same.
There is nowhere to hide Topeka, you are in the centre, we are all watching you. I think if ever a city was doomed, it is your city. Mar 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
So why were the prophets killed Topeaka? Am I on the right track?

Are you kidding??? You don't live in the same town with this zealot. You haven't felt the anguish and sorrow and down right anger that the victimized families have felt. You preach...no...you quote words from the bible but no where in the bible does it order, or even suggest to condemn, judge, or berate a whole nation. No where in the bible does it suggest to cause hurt and dispair...no where does it say to be hateful. If it says anything like that in your bible then you aren't reading the same one I am. I suggest that you keep your opinion to yourself until you walk even an inch in the shoes of those that have been targeted by this supposed church. If you haven't noticed, even the Baptist faith is denouncing the Westboro "Church". Get your facts straight and then look at the whole picture.

40+, zealot huh?'Passionate with a purpose'. You are the first person I have seen here to put a feather in Pastor Phelps cap 40+. Cool.
40+, You don't know what anguish and sorrow I have been through, BUT, I do know the trials and tribulations you Topekans are undergoing. It's in all the newspapers. You say :"Nowhere in the bible does it suggest to cause hurt and dispair...no where does it say to be hateful. If it says anything like that in your bible then you aren't reading the same one I am" That belch was a bit convoluted 40+, but nevertheless, it does say so. 1Co 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." Though Pastor Phelps is talking faggotry, yet the song remains the same. 40+, you only have a few decades God willing. Get your head together man. Why will you perish? |

This “hate the sin – love the sinner” slogan doesn't come from the Holy Bible, this is a quote from Gandhi. While we're at it, another quote from Gandhi is “I would be as Christian if it weren't for the Christians”. In fact this whole “hate your neighbor” theology used by the radical right doesn't come from the original manuscript of the Holy Bible. This “hate your neighbor” theology was designed in the thirteenth century and the definitions of a few words were changed which helped to build community cohesiveness of the majority (heterosexuals) against a group of people which helped to build a cause of “us against them” philosophy. One word originally referred to victorious solders raping defeated solders and the original manuscript of the Holy Bible said that should not be done any more. The new definition meant ALL homosexual activity. Another word referred to a male who became a temple prostitute for the farmers to have sex with in order to increase the productivity of their fields and this should not be done anymore. The new definition meant ALL homosexual activity.
It is possible to fool people into doing anything if you can just scare them bad enough. This “hate your neighbor” theology has been a very productive tool of the radical right to climb to power and works stunningly well as long as no one exposes the truth of what is at play here. Excuse me for pulling the curtain aside for all to see. This Phineas from Auckland, New Zealand has the same style of writing as one of the Phelps' right here in Topeka, Ks. Dorothy called the Wizard a very bad man for FOOLING the people. Such a sad shame. There is one good thing you can agree to about the Phelps cult – they don't live in YOUR city and you don't have to be ashamed of them when your family comes to visit you and your family sees the obscenity the Phelps' Proudly Parade in public. From what I have seen here in Topeka, this cult appears to be blinded by their pride in themselves. Phineas, when you get back from your vacation in Auckland, New Zealand, we'll be looking for you on the streets of Topeka. |

Hello Toto, I read your post. Im not sure I made head or tail of it. It seemed to me you were encouraging an agenda of sodomy. You know, when a man anally connects with another. You know, when the fount of life is connected directly with the sewer. But then I might be wrong about you, because I can't for the life of me see, how any man could do, let alone think such a thing. It would only bring eternal destruction from the LORD.
Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. You know! When Rom 1:24 ... God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Yeah, I'm sure we both understand Toto. Only a FOOL would tempt God like that. |

Which prophet? Take your pick OSG.
How about Jesus, you know; the Son of God. The one sent, not to everyone, but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel; or those joined to Israel through faith. Mat 15:24-28. Why was Jesus killed OSG? You don't think it might have something to do with his whipping the greedy garbage outta the temple, huh? |

Acts 10:15, Phin. I write this not triumphantly, but with sorrow, because the extreme five-point Calvinist view you and the members of WBC hold come from a different Bible- or rather, from ignoring most of the true Bible. You can't pick and choose. You must accept it all, from Genesis to Revelation-even if the Scripture validates a more Weslyan-Armenian, or even an Orthodox point of view. And guess what? Not everyone who disagrees with you is wrong! The arrogance that you hold, condemning the millions of Christians who disagree with you to an automatic hell, is the reason you and I cannot dialogue. ZDon't bother telling me you speak with the mouth of God! Herod believed the same thing, and was eaten by worms for his folly. And really, Phin! You flunked lunch. Jesus was not killed because of the moneychangers. His life was not taken-He freely gave it away to satisfies His Father's requirement of a perfect sacrifice for sin. Because of His sacrifice and my acceptance of Him as Savior and Lord, I will not face God's wrath for my sin.
Have a nice life, Phineas! Post again when you're ready to dialogue. |

1 I see you have no problem with the milk of the word. But just remember OSG, milk is for babies. Jesus was killed OSG, the Apostle Paul told us so. 1Th 2:15 the Jews... Who both killed the Lord Jesus..." And again: Mark 8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed; ... And he spake that saying openly. And again: Joh 12:10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus ALSO to death; Again: Mat 12:14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. Ditto: Mat 26:59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; Mar 15:13 And they cried out again, Crucify him. Jesus told us himself: Mat 21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him,..." Sure OSG; Jesus came to earth to offer himself a sacrifice for sin, yet he would not have had the opportunity if someone did not want to kill him! Your version of events OSG, would have our Lord coming to earth, nailing himself to the cross, like some wierdo's do every Easter, and suiciding/sacrificing himself. Ha ha ha. Yeah, milk is for babies OSG, strong meat is for men. However, I think perhaps you may be ready for milk powder. Funny that OSG; we read the scriptures and we see the Jews wanted Jesus dead. Yet we see in your Judeo Christian mind that the Jews are absolved and you have a suicidal Jesus on your hands. Back to my query OSG, You don't think it might ALSO have something to do with his whipping the greedy garbage outta the temple, huh? So where are we OSG? |

Jeremiah 31:34 "No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord.'For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

1 Was that an admission of defeat OSG; have you given up the ghost? Are you hiding behind the skirts OSG. Has your vocabulary reached it's limit? Have you no debate left in you? You have misquoted scripture to suit your ends. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Notice OSG: its AFTER THOSE DAYS. "for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them". A day with the Lord is as a thousand years. You need to wait more than two days OSG. This scripture speaks of the day when the Lord has returned. Notice: "for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them". But take some advice OSG. Listen to the speech of the WBC. They are your best and only friends. I'm sure they love you. |

I have a question. Is Fred Phelps still alive. No, really! When was the last time anyone outside of the Huntoon compound actually seen the man? Are they keeping him on ice to keep the mystery alive? Updates, please.

1 It's hard to kick against the pricks OSG. Thats because the pricks are in all our own mind. We would have to kick ourselves in the head. Thats why it's hard OSG. We all know that. |

2 Ya just gotta wonder though; after reading the posts from others at the forum. Some of them talk about fire bombing, killing, beating and Oh... you know. All the usual flow of froth and spittle that issues from the mouths of folk; kicking against the pricks in their own hearts; folk in love with their filthy lust. The funny thing is; and it really is funny; ya just gotta laugh; These folk know they are in a sad sick situation. They know Pastor Phelps is a messenger from God. They know the truth is coming forth from the mouths of the Servants of God. They know they need to stop being slaves to filthy Hollywood inspired pornographic lust, and yet, true to form, they are churned up and violently angry, frustrated at their inability to entice other folk to join them in their anal copulating sewer behaviour and unnatural lesbian sickness. They call folk not agreeing with them hateful and intolerant. Ha ha ha. Oh Lord; may I ever be hateful and intolerant of their ways. God forbid I should join them and suffer the terrible judgement they are to suffer. But you keep praying for them OSG. When the hammer falls we will know what a fruitless, futile exercise in stupidity is all about. And leave the Servants of God alone to get on with their commission. |

Hey OSG.....sounds to me like someone hasn't been getting any lately.
