I live just down the road from Will Rogers Elementary School. It has been and still is a top rated school for the city of Pontiac school district, it resides in the city of Auburn Hills. Auburn Hills does not have its own school district (but should). My wife and kids were at the play ground next to the basketball court (50 to 60 yds away) when the girl was stabbed. My wife said there were about 40 or 50 people around the court at 6pm. She was playing with our son and two dauters on the play sets. She was not aware of what had just happened. They were on there way home when I saw the first fire rescue units arrive, from my driveway. Police were on the site for several hours after, and we did not here about the stabbing till the morning of the 12th.
