Auburn hikes Chizik's salary to $3.5 million

Auburn football coach Gene Chizik has received a new contract nearly doubling his salary after leading the Tigers to a national championship.

What is going to be funny is when the NCAA completes the investigation and AU will be like USCs '04 team. Stripped of their title and then AU will be wondering why they upped the coaches pay. They will be stuck with 1 dead tree, no title, no heisman, and when scam newton kicks em in the ballz when he doesn't send AU his alumni "dues", no aquaintance. LMAO!!!

Agree 100% with all your points. When they are done with OSU, they may also vacate their 2002 Championship. College football and basketball do serve a purpose though,
