Has anyone heard that AU is getting an ice hockey team? If so, are they making the new Auburn Arena interchangeable between basketball and hockey or maybe Beard Eaves?
I think it would be great especially since alabama, tennessee, florida, south carolina, vandy, georgia and others all have ice hockey teams! The Ice Tigers that would be great!

The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, UAT, doesn't have a hockey team. It's a club.

All of those teams are clubs jackass. Auburn's would be, too. Auburn and Ole Miss are the only SEC teams without a hockey team.

Ole Miss has a hockey team which will be competing in 20 games come Fall 2009 season. Auburn is now the only SEC school without a team.

I played on Auburn's ice hockey club in 1982-1983. The team disbanded in 1983. If it was not for Auburn starting a team I never would have attended AU. After a few years I earned my degree in management. I live in a suburb of Detroit,mi. Played ice hockey as a kid. I know of 3 other team members from the Detroit area that played for Auburn. It was a grat opportunity, lots of fun, and Auburn is a great school.

We're all very excited for Ole Miss to join the rest of us in the SECHC. I haven't heard any updates on Auburn picking up a team but would love to see them get it back together. I'm sure there's enough kids there that play, its just a matter of organizing it.

If at "club" teams is established, I'm hoping some games will be at Pelham rink too.

Columbus, GA has an ice hockey team (Cottonmouths). AU could play over there. I have had season tickets for 3 years and it's a lot of fun.

Im one of the starters of the Auburn Ice Hockey team the next upcoming season. We are waiting for our constitution to be passed to officially be a team. We WILL be playing in Columbus as they have a new year round ice rink being built. I played youth with alot of the UA kids and am really excited to play against them. Hope to have alot of people come out to the games! We are hoping to schedule a preseason exhibition game with UA next year so search around when the time comes and come support the Auburn tigers!

There is this high school kid in Atlanta. He's really good. He just finished his sophomore season. He scored 18 goals and 24 assists. He lead the league in points. Auburn hockey might wanna try to recruit him. His name is Michael Healy.

Seriously when do tickets go on sale for the Games in Columbus GA Civic Center? I have called the box office and they said they are waiting on SECHC and AU to give the green light, I fully want season tickets if the ever become available, Im currently a season ticket holder of 4 seats at the Columbus Cottonmouths, and I attend at least 4-5 thrasher games a year, I go to more if it was not an 1 and a 1/2 hour drvie from columbus, with no public trans like a train and chaos of philips arena, not to mention ticket, food, parking, and beer prices. Additionally I make 2-3 Huntsville games from Columbus, and plan on this year attending a couple of pensecola games, who knows maybe even an Agusta game or 2. However I cant go to the game if you wont sell tickets and if you dont have an contact information on any of your sites, this is my only chance to ask, and who knows if anyone will read this or even when.
