I don't get it riders...is there some sort of smugness and entitlement that goes along with doing that, or does the activity just attract idiots?
Get this, firstly you need to follow the rules of the road. If you haven't noticed, the road has signage of instruction, just because you are saving a tree somewhere in the Amazon by your riding, doesn't give you the right to ride in front of me. What if I didn't react and killed him? I don't think the world would be much of a worse place, but it's not a hard concept to grasp.
I think that in order to ride a bike, you need to take a state standardized course on bicycling, have to get an endorsement on your license, and pay taxes to use the road and if that includes having to put a license plate on your Huffy, so be it...on top of all of it, you need to be able to maintain the speed limit to minus 10 mph; I am tired of you going 20 in a 55. If you cannot maintain the posted limit, ride on campus. Ride two abreast, not two 10 feet away.
I swear, they need to hold you to the same standards or make it legal to hit you. I would be fine either way.
